In Jakarta there is a high school like this too, that my Indonesian friend told me about. One student said he was able to be a better muslim after going to BC. My dad went to Canissius HS in Buffalo, New York, and he became a top scientist with an ethical soul.
If you guys remember and exemplify the lessons you learned there, then did Baghdad College ever really close?
I'm here because I heard someone on National Public Radio being interviewed about this high school. He said having it close was tragic to everyone who ever knew the place. From my Iraqi friend, I heard politics made Saddam close it, only because it was a Jesuit school and was seen as a political risk, even though Saddam's sons actually went there. It's great to see your comments. Nothing lasts forever I guess, but there are some similar Jesuit high schools around the world that kids love.

my father went to it during its glorious time and I left when Oday took over & wanted the students to "volunteer" to Ashbal Saddam
