this is not a good movie and i am intelligent enough to know when a film is good and when people make propaganda that this is "art".. it is special, yes, thats right, but why do people call things "art" if they are logical in no way. all the interpretations on the web are stupid, you never get enough information to form these interpretations, people just make it up on their own because they dont get the movie either

This is a really nicely done trailer. The music mixing at the end is FANTASTIC. I'd love to have a mix like that of the Love Theme with that drum beat. This trailer conveys the beguiling, seductive mystery while being a bit more coherent than the movie's actual trailer. Well done.

Watched this with some friends a couple of weeks ago and they didn't get it. I think the youth of today are too used to being spoon-fed watered-down storylines that make perfect sense and all the loose ends get tied up. This film contravenes this completely and I don't think people should necessarily view it as a story, but a collection of themes, images imposed on the viewer to create feeling and response. Film is a type of art and art doesn't have to make sense, but give you feelings.

@patz5678 Hey patz, the story actually does have a meaning and makes sense, tho i admit it took me a couple viewings to fully understand it. google it and you will see, but if you want, there are some hints inside the dvd insert. The biggest hint i can give is the very first scene of the film, which often goes unnoticed or forgotten.

Had Lynch been allowed to make this into a TV series (as he originally intended), I wonder how it would have turned out. Nevertheless, as a movie it is incredibly fascinating.

Just a suggestion: do you think it would be better to have "silencio" at the end and fade out?

I LOVE the way you put the end music with the drum, and some of the audio from the "Club Silencio" scene. It is quite powerful. And yes, MUCH better than the official trailer.
