As a long time fan of the Ghost Recon series (I've been playing since the first one), I can honestly say that I will NOT be getting this game. It looks like a mix of Gears of War mixed with COD Modern Warfare ... it has taken on a generic direction, and simply isn't what made me love the series (stuff like team planning, strategy, and you know ... thinking).

The equipment shown in this game looks pretty futuristic, but the truth is things like optical camouflage and sensor-type equipment is under development. But anyways, the new Rainbow looks pretty cool and is in a modern setting instead of near-future.

@pHDinSnowcones remember uncharted and heavy rain are exclusives means they used the full power of ps3 and BF3 full graphics are in PC only. ghost recon is multi platform as you know and has to work with all three platforms and find a balance. that and the the game has been delayed for 2 or 3 years now i suspect the code they worked with was pretty old or they are lazy idk point is skyrim is awesome :).

@NikoVlogsGud Perhaps stealth was not the right word, but my experience lies predominantly with Advanced Warfighter 2 and in that game the goal was essentially to avoid direct confrontation. Considering you could only take 4 hits with no regenerating health, it was all about taking down the bad guys before they see you. And when you fly into combat hammering away at enemy vehicles with a minigun mounted on a blackhawk, its damn near impossible to avoid massive firefights.

Online gaming was still in it's infancy, and even when I played Quake etc online there was little communication, just plain fun. I really miss those days. WoW still has a good community though even though I don't play it anymore, I suppose it's one of those games that most kids can't play cause they're too dumb.
