The first jump with lessons typically costs around $200-300. Then after you get experienced to go independent (after around 10 jumps) it's only around $20-30 to ride on the plane (plus whatever the cost to rent or buy your parachute equipment).
@MINICLIPGAMER Not like a roller coaster at all. When you jump out, you don't go straight down, you actually arc due to the airspeed of the plane. So there is no feeling of falling or the "stomach in the throat" sensation. Just a little windy ;)
@ 1:27 it looks like he lost his visor. You can see it flapping around. I've heard of this being a problem with the "Factory Diver'' helmets. Anyone else have any exp. with that?
Nice! He may not have performed all of his stunts perfectly but he had great recovery and it looks like he had a lot of fun! Which is the most important part, after all. :) It looks like he might have had a bit of a hard landing too (although it was a standup.) He should have started his flare about a second earlier. Nice though. Nice dive and nice landing overall.
Yea, it does appear to be a bit of a hard landing. Maybe that's why the video was stopped at that instant ;) A sec earlier would have done him justice for sure. Nice dive
