  • I love people that are so wrapped up in "sustainable" practices. 1000 years ago, in the United States, they were as sustainable as it gets. What you speak of is a gross retarded version using trash that never should have been produced in the first place. Sustainable? Been there, not a hidden secret, TeePee, pc of land big enough to produce food for you and your family. Thats all you need. "Green" is still just a color. People talk simple they are all too damn pussy to walk simple though.

  • See James H. Klippel's Terra Homage organic architecture video.

  • like the clip. check out my home energy stuff using Rooftop Wind Turbines and solar panels on my roof. I just won a Green Design Contest with my product on EarthDay. Friends and Subscribers Welcome.

    Thanks, Sam

  • Why away from angled glass I wonder? From my understanding they are angled to catch the full rays of the south soun into the home and keep the north sun only to the front garden. But this or mabe thier location is one of the exceptions he spoke of. It sure would be nice to hear this whole class. Thaks for posting.

  • @Thyrinal

In certain climates, it allows the oppurtunity for snow to build up, and with the weight, the glass can crack.

  • @cstoneburg

  • Interesting. I'm looking to have a coupld of homes rehabbed in the green style.
