man this was great what an amazing upset by the Titans and an amazing atmosphere games like this is why i love college basketball Rashad phillips and Jermaine Jackson outplayed Baron Davis and Earl Watson
I was there in person. I remember Reggie Miller was at the game. Probably disappointed that his alma-mater lost. But the atmosphere was great. I was also in Indy when Princeton upset UCLA.
This was great, especially the interspersion of the Weber State upset of UNC. This is exactly why college football refuses to give in to a playoff. There's too many "mid-majors" who can knock the equivalents of UCLA and North Carolina out. Tradition be damned.
UCLA was so bent that they were shipped off to too Indianapolis, that is one of the many reasons they lost this matchup and plus the wonderful coaching of Steve Lavin.
Great tradition at U of D: Spencer Haywood, Dave DeBuscherre, John Long, Terry Tyler, Terry Duerod, Earl Cureton, Joe Kopicki, Rashad Phillips, Des Ferguson, Willie Green GO TITANS!!
Yea...I can still vividly remember pretending I was Arceneaux, shooting hoops at the park for weeks after that Tourney...he had such a quick release....man, time flies
Nice how it included a tiny bit of the Weber State-North Carolina game. Harold "The Show" Arceneaux kicked so much ass for Weber State. Weber has a shot this year to be in the tournament...it won't be the same as 1999 though.
I don't remember this, but as a huge bruin follower and former student, I have to ask: How the hell did Dan Gadzurik make it to the NBA? he was atrocious!
GO TITANS!

so who won that NC-W.S. game? I don't remember either of those games. All I know is, UCLA probably doesn't want to EVER play in Indy again
