@MegaWrestlingbeast I think hes the best forward but I wouldn't say the best striker.For all his excellence Suarez just isn't clinical enough currently to be named best striker (Especially with Van Persie's shot to goal ratio)you could argue though hes the best forward as that takes into account his all around play and just general awesomeness :) Hes only 24 too compared to VP who's 28 & in his prime so hes got more than enough time to put that right :D Either way wouldnt swap him for the world!

He works hard to keep his place in the national team and liverpool. He is more of a goal poacher , and winger. His job is to pass it to people who can pass.

@linkylamp You make a fair point but at the end of the day a midfileder/forward will always be judged on their goal/assist ratio & 9/10 times its a good indicator of how bad or well they're doing,which in this case is valid. The exceptions to this rule are obviously defensive mids(destroyers)such as Lucas who you mentioned.He's one of my fave players but come on his ball v WBA was rare for him.Again 9/10 he'll be the one to break it up and give it to someone who cn make those balls consistently.

@09michael1 cause its 4 -3 - 3 mate.Lucas is the destroyer breaking up play then you have Adam&Gerrard in mid (L + R footer complimenting each other)with Adam more the creator and Gerrard supporting the front 3/running from deep/linking the mid with the attack.Then you have Carroll upfront as a target man&Kuyt&Suarez running off him though Suarez would have a slightly freer role where as Kuyt would be supporting the mid when Gerrard makes runs into the box.Downing would replace Kuyt now though.

Lot of work to be done but then again we're still a new team who will only get stronger and stronger. Tbf our games havent been the easiest either Spurs, Stoke and Arsenal away so far in the first 5 games of the season having won 1 in 3 of them (should have been 2 v Stoke) which is a better record than last year :)

Pre season he seemed good but he seems to have a Torres thing about him where he sulks if things dont go his way. Gave him the benefit of the doubt first 2 games, but when he came on fresh and ready for the last 15mins v Bolton against a tired back line which had been run ragged all day he was just as lazy which I wasn't impressed by at all. Defo expect Bellamy to push his way into our team :) Great player.
@780VolvoVn Agreed, hes still good but 34 in Jan, why I'm chuffed that it looks like Coates is on his way :) If needed he can fill in straight away but I expect Carra to play the majority of matches still at least for this season.

If we played a 4-4-2 then the only player I could see him replacing would be Adam though I can't see us using that formation v Chelsea and Man U etc. :)
