i agree that affirmations need to be spoken aloud, it would be much more beneficial to be able to lie down and close our eyes

Head phones are required for binaural beats because two different frequencies in each ear create the binaural beat, ie, 500Hz left ear, 528Hz in right ear causes the brain to make up the diff. So I am not sure how the benefit of the binaural beat will be extended to the listener w/out head phones.
