  • 8 Coin Dealers Disliked this video

  • Thank you dude.

  • Not a bad idea, thx!

  • OH wow,a treasure, lets tell the whole fucking world where it is. You need to get this shit off here young man.

  • @paulypaulification

Son, I think I'll leave this video up to annoy people just like you. Greedy fucks.

  • @paulypaulification You tell others what to look for in other videos... so why are you bashing people's videos? Be happy for other's finds, if not get off the internet. Shouldn't you be looking through your rolls instead of wasting time on here?

  • Congradulations, you will go down in history for being one of the people that took money away from organised criminals that are now legit. I hope you didn't just show your face on here. You will teach nobody anything with your jaw wired shut. The first rule of CRH is TELL NOBODY!!!!! You already have but anyway, GO FUCK YOURSELF

  • @paulypaulification What is the point your trying to make moron.. The guy is just offering some friendly advice on how to search for silver coins.. People like you help make the world a rotten place

  • That's alot of silver!!!

  • My local coin guy tried to charge me 41 per round today!

  • Amazing how much hoarding there has been in only 2 years!

  • Since he has posted this video finds have DRAMATICALLY dropped. There is still some out there so don't give up even if you get 4 skunk boxes in a row. People still turn in silver coins to their banks everyday. I have found a Walking Liberty in the same roll as a 2010 D just this month.

  • How may boxes are in each "day" for you?

  • I don't think Coins are issued through the Fed. I think coinage is issued debt free directly from the Treasury.

  • oh stop it , you;re just showing off now..!

  • how cum almost everyone on youtube finds more 40% coins than 90% coins? i find more 90% coins than 40% coins my average is 7 40% coins to 9 90% coins

  • just went through 10000 dimes. not one silver

  • Its fun to look back at this vid... when 90%'s were $4.70! I was thinking about this the other day... we feel we are buying the silver coin at face value, but if the money is already yours, aren't you really getting them for free? lol

  • There are no banks in this area that have an electronic coin counter. If I buy rolls I have cost involved plus more labor. Any suggestions as to how I can deal with this? Thanks

  • @peetsisthekind Bank of America lets you put your coins in a security bag that they provide and then they send the coins off to brinks. Brinks then counts them and they post to your acct in a couple days. Thats how I do it here anyway.

  • @peetsisthekind I have been using silvercoinhunt(dot)com for a week now. They have some pretty good rolls, got a couple of 90% halves.

  • The 90%'s are now worth $13.30, 40%'s are $5.40. My first attempt, I simply grabbed the 2 rolls the bank had on hand. Each roll had 1 40% half. I plan to be ordering a box pretty soon so I can do it on a larger scale.

  • I tried to do this recently and found nothing. I went through several hundred coins; it was all that my CU had. I think they just give you a box of well-handled coins that have been gone through by people who have all day to do it. Since I am workingwith family, kids, etc. I don't have full time to devote, but would be more encouraged if I found even one.single.coin. Since I didn't I have to assume as they say the jig is up at least here in FL. Thanks for the video

  • I am seriously sick to my stomach. You are a genius man. Just starting now, 2 years later from your post.

  • how does the bank give you free half dollars?

  • can i do this in canada?

  • Thanks For Posting !!!

  • I went to the banks today. The banks didn't has any half dollar coin. I asked the bank teller to order me some but they said that too many people are trying to buy half dollar coin and they couldn't order it from any where. What should i do????

  • can i buy one proof ?

    need to go to holland

  • @JanAppeldorn151 Oh Nederlands are poor Suckers, coming to Deutschland and buy cool 1KiloSilverbars from "Heimerle und Meule Pfortzheim" !!!

  • where do u exchange these?

  • @headshotntheface2 No problem whit exchange in Deutschland "proaurum.de"!Ore you can going in München !

  • It realy cheap today only 45$ Silveronze, but the next 3- 8 jahrs i`d think 300$-1200$ or 10 000$ ? And Silver it for cool Boys and Gold it for Gays and Girls o.K. !?

  • What else do you have? I'm reviewing now.

  • I just went through $1000 of halves. Not one single silver coin. Me thinks you guys have wiped them all out. Still a great vid.

  • @BillKville Your be one Depp ,look to Silvercoins ore bars,Silvereagles,Loonies ore Phils ,your now ?

  • Do you return the rest to the bank?

  • You are just inviting extra coin roll hunters into the hobby that are not needed.

  • @jaguarxj6vandenplas waaaaaaah

  • @OkieSilverDude You're letting the cat out of the bag.

  • @OkieSilverDude Silver is already tough to find as it is. We don't need extra competition.

  • @OkieSilverDude lets be honest, you dont care anymore because only 1-3 silver halves are found in a 500 box nowadays :)~ youve already made your money.

  • @gschopp

plenty of people are finding the motherloads still but it takes more than looking for a box or two and giving up.

  • @jaguarxj6vandenplas Have you got your twenty pieces of silver. I do. We're all going to hell(in a handbasket).

  • @chuckbyf1 ???

  • or do u just keep them or what, thanks but can u please tell me how you make money from this?

  • @851461541 You can purchase half wrappers on Amazon very cheaply. You roll the halves and deposit them in your bank account. Order more boxes of halves. Repeat. If you don't have a bank account the bank won't order coins for you. I more than make up for my time, effort and the cost of wrappers.

  • thanks thats a cool trick, BUT PLEASE TELL ME, WHERE CAN U SELL THE 40% or 90% coins?

  • @851461541 Ebay is a good place.

  • @sevendst19 eeh many cons to that

    - shipping costs

    - posting costs

    - too much time wasting

    - not nearly enough profit

    - no one is looking for silver 50 cent coins

    ...

i doubt you could really sell this on ebay, but anyway props to the video maker

  • @851461541 Noones looking for silver? lol thats the dumbest thing i've ever heard

  • @851461541 Really? No one is looking for silver halves?! I sell junk silver on ebay and Craigslist. I search five or six boxes a month and last month I made almost 400 dollars. I'll remember how much time I wasted while I count my money.

  • @siszam You made almost $400 in a month? Thats a $100 a week or $14 a day or 58 cents and hour. You need to get a job my man. You would make $600 a week.

  • @851461541 you smelt them and get the pure siver out ur self and then make bars or ur own coins out of it.. have fun dont hurt ur self

  • I bought 750 dollars of halves two weeks ago and found NO silver coins at all.... ;-)

  • I am an American living abroad (fled the USSA) and I am always trying to increase my silver supply. The banksters always have something evil planned against the people, especially the Federal Reserve Bank as "Federal" as Federal Express. This is a way to fight back against the banks and make instant profits of 8 to 20 times your investment. You are paying $0.50 to get $4.00-$10.00. Silver is only going to keep going up. I can't wait to hunt on my next vacation in the USSA.

  • Searched through $250 worth of halves that were ordered from a BOA in Chicago. No luck at all. Should I try again from them or try a different bank?

  • @PalaceHotelBallroom Sometimes you just need to get deeper into the pallet at brinks. It probably wouldnt matter which bank you order from, they'd all come from the same pallet. All the best and good luck on your hunting.

  • me and my dad got this idea, so he picked up 20 rolls of dimes to try and we got 7 silver dimes, is this commen or not???

  • @RocketMan291 I think most people average 3 dimes per 25 roles so yall did good.

  • @OkieSilverDude Would you rather buy 24 privately minted rounds or 25 Silver Eagles?

  • @JesusDillinger I'd rather have the Silver Eagles. Generic bullion rounds are starting to get boring to me. Also lately I've been thinking, what would I rather own if silver hits $500/oz? Govt issued coins for sure.

  • @OkieSilverDude thanks for your answer.

I mixed that question up. I meant to ask, "24 Eagles or 25 private mint." lol

  • @JesusDillinger Personally... I'd still rather have the eagles. Why not mix it up half and half if you are new to silver?

  • @OkieSilverDude Yes, you could say I'm new to Ag---since Max Keiser started the "Kill JP Morgan" thing on the Alex Jones show.

I am mixing it up, just as you suggest. A few from this source, a few from that source. I can only spend a few hundred a week on it though. Next I think I'll probably get some divisible rounds from QSB.

Say, would you mind critiquing what I wrote on my youtube page re silver? I'd like to hear from a more experienced view.

    Are you from Oklahoma?

  • @JesusDillinger what you wrote looks good. look into bear sterns silver short.. and who inherited their short position...jpm... lol.

yep I am from Oklahoma... keep on stacking!

  • cheer up

  • theres no way you can find silver in govenment rolls anymore. but if your lucky you might find some in customer wrapped rolls.

  • @MrSmartAfrican Its all about Brinks rolls or whichever company works in your area. The Fed has pallets of these coins sitting around, do you really think they've hunted out all the silver,,, I doubt it!

  • @OkieSilverDude maybe your right. Ill be sure to buy from brinks next time i go CRH. And thanks for bringing my hopes up again, i appreciate your advice. Thanks!

  • I've heard every silver coin I own. Silver has a higher tone than all coins. I can tell just by shaking change 40% not so much 90% stands out though.

  • i got 1 box about a year ago and got nothin!! DO U THINK EVEN TODAY THERE IS EVEN A CHANCE FOR DIMES, NICKELS AND HALF DOLLARS

  • @cyclonesfullscale Some people have have luck with dimes, most I've ever found in a box was 3 though. Yes I still think there is silver in the half dollar boxes. You may need to get deep into the brinks pallet though.

  • Thanks! D2NWO! LOL ;-)

  • Thanks for the info man but PLEASE remove these videos, thanks

  • why just the half dollar, can i use any other silver coins to save? i really wanan know

  • @Cortezhmphll314 because half dollars are rarely circulated these days.

  • I'm finally getting my first 2 boxes of halves tomorrow (while I can afford it). I was trying to sell some of my other silver since I saw today that the price was at $21.7-. anyway i went to a coin shop nearby and the guy offered me $10 per ounce of sterling... Does anyone know where to sell beside online to get a fair price?

  • Wow silver has gone up soo much! I feel "richer" everytime i check kitco this past week lol. Ok I'm going to rant about my crappy day. My boss basically cussed me out at work, which was not cool. So feeling crappy and needing something to cheer me up, I went to the bank. The teller had just come back from lunch and he had $50 in halves. I looked through them and found 2 foreign coins along with... get this... 13-90% and 8-40%! THAT TOTALLY MADE MY DAY! Best personal find ever!

  • There is no CHEAP silver, there is only SPOT on silver or wayyy too expensive ones... usually sold through scams.

  • ok how do u tell if a half dollar is 90% silver i understand how to tell if they are 40% silver but how do i tell if they are 90% silver please someone explain this

  • @2bafool All half dollars made from 1836 to 1964 contain 90% silver. Before that they contained 89.24% silver and 10.76% copper. People don't seem to realize the second fact. Anyway, 1964 Kennedy halves contain 90% silver and 10% copper, and that was the only year they were made with 90% silver.

  • Does anyone know if $1 is a good price for a silver dime? This guy on ebay is selling but idk if its a good price. lol

  • @Decoy8 Melt value is currently $1.33 check out this link. Google Silver Coin Calculator

  • @OkieSilverDude ok cool I was not up to date on the prices of silver... anyway I'm going to buy 1 because he is selling them for feeback, so you are only allowed 1. Of course I could make a new account and buy them all lol. He had 500 up for sale and he said i could get another one in 10 days

  • @Decoy8 i buy silver, email me at thegoodrobot@yahoo.com

  • @Decoy8 naw its pretty high price, your spending too much for not enough silver.

  • can you go back to your bank and give back all the coins that have no silver for bills?

  • Just go to the bank and ask the person at the desk if they have any half or dollar coins and ask to see them. then if the year is right, you can exchange them for a dollar. this is to risky.

  • does your bank want to charge $10.00 for the box? Mine said its .10 a roll to get the money in.

If not what banks dont charge for that?

  • @Mastermlmteam Bank of America has never charged me.

  • Awesome freakin finds!!!!!!!! I bought $100 worth of halves yesterday and found (5) 90% silvers and (70) 40% silvers. Not bad for only 10 rolls. Keep up the bank rolling!

  • Was ready to but a couple of boxes today but can't find an electronic coin counter at any bank in my area that doesn't charge a 5,10, or 12% fee. (even if I open an account). Any suggestions?

  • @imlindacosta Just deposit them at your bank, it may take a few days to post but its better than paying the fee for a coin counter. My bank of america just ships them off to brinks for counting and they post to my acct usually in 3 days.

  • It is not a proof coin anymore if it has gone into circulation.

  • Comment removed

  • Hav u gotten some in every box????

  • Have u gotten some in every box???

  • I contacted brinks, they are just a carrier service. Not possible to get silver or franklin coins. All circulation coins are not all silver.

  • @kregg123 dude, did you watch the video? not all boxes even produce a single silver coin, but sometimes you get lucky.

  • @kregg123 UR AN IDIOT,NO SHIT

  • Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the last year of silver 1964 and earlier?

  • @bonifide39observant 64 and earlier for 90% silver, 65-70 for 40% silver. Check the links in the more info section.

  • @bonifide39observant pre 1965

  • Hey, a serious question: not to be stalker like or anything, but I was wondering in what federal reserve district you live in? My brother, who has more money than i, started searching boxes. He's done about 6 or 7 boxes and has only found 1 90%, 1 40% and a proof commemorative. He resides in florida (fed. res. district 6). Do you think where you live affects how many coins you find?

  • @Decoy8 ..... yes location matters. My friend in florida never has much luck. He thinks its due to all the old people in Florida.

  • @OkieSilverDude hmm... Never thought about that. I guess it makes sense since many people go to florida to retire.

  • wow how many boxes u open a day?

  • Comment removed

  • where do you get these boxes like what sites

  • The Third Reich produced millions of 90% silver bullion coins. Each Nazi 5 Reichsmark coin weighed 13.88 g and contained exactly 12.5 g of fine silver. Almost half an ounze of silver in each coin. These coins are still readily available today! And besides their inherant value as silver bullion, they are also genuine Third Reich collectables thus adding to their value!

  • It's too late, I have ordered 3 boxes, 3000 coins and I found only one 40% half dollar, The word is out.

The biggest buyers of halfs are probably casinos and I am sure they are searching them.

    .

  • Same here, I got 2 boxes of $500 (2000 coins) and only found 1 40%er

  • where did you get em

  • i got one at bank of america and the other at a small bank here in key west, just walk in the bank and when you get to the counter you can ask for a $500 box and if they have it they'll give it to you, if not they will order one for you... don't get your hopes up though, to get your money back you have to buy rolls, roll them, and take them back to the bank

  • how do you order them-

  • OK, so go to my bank and what do i need to ask for to get these??

  • ask them to order you boxes of half dollars. watch the video again if you dont understand!

  • So after the tally how much is your 500 investment worth in silver?

  • I just opened a roll of half dollars I found renovating an old bank. They are all dated 1861 and have a woman on the front. They look too old to be spent but I,m taking them to market to get groceries with.

  • Noooo! don't do that They could be worth up to $400 dollars if they are uncirculated!

    You had better be joking!

  • why would you spend those? They are probably worth 100 bucks each.

  • I alreeady did that. I also used some of the halves to pay for my shopping. I got some looks like " what the hell is this" . One teen girl went and got her manager and told her I didnt have real money ..lol

  • @MYAR15SaysImFree

LMAO, our youth is so dumb, lord help us

  • I just opened $400 in halves, got a 67, 68, and 69 Kennedy. All in one roll. Now I'm going back to get Dimes. I tried to order a box, but they only keep what members exchange.

  • You might want to setup some accounts at other banks to get your halves.

  • fat chance on dimes, you will likely find none, as they are circulated so much, half dollars are rarely circulated so there are some silver still floating around.

  • i found a 1962 half dollar in the trunk of an old Chevy Biscayne some years ago. Also found a bloody axe in there, too.

    Strange...

  • I did 3 rolls of halves today . All they had, also did 50 in dimes, no silver. Bank is open til noon and its a different branch. I'll hit that up in the morning. But I did get a 1966 Unc 40% Kennedy in mail for 2 bucks.

  • hey i found a 64 kennedy and a 59 franklin today from $50 of halves that i picked up from a bank inside of vons! who would have known lol

  • I did this .I did not find any silver .But I saved good clean ones.I saved the good looking one that are copper filled.

  • P.S. If the dollar collapses, people like us that have gold and silver may end up saving the economy my keeping it going. If there is enough of it to spend into the economy it may be possible to sustain everything until all is rebuilt.

    Just a thought.

  • It's possable. I think ppl with silver and gold will be far better of than those with worthless dollars

  • Well I have had some better luck. I went to different chase locations and got all the halfs they had. I have found 4 so far.

  • i have a huge amount of junk silver, i love them.

  • Hey man thanks for posting this video.

Just a quick question do you know what percentage of silver to regular coins were in the boxes? Even if the coins have 40%.

  • Sometimes 0%, sometimes up to 10-15% or so. Just depends on the box.

  • where would i cash the silver coins in to get money for them?

  • coin stores, ebay, private sales....

  • hey i have a question, ima 13 yrs. old and i dont have a bank account,

  • get your parents to get one for you, or use theirs.

  • @OkieSilverDude also i live in canada, so can you give me some good tips??

  • I started doing this when i was 14. You dont really need a bank account. You can ask your parents to go for or with you. I go to banks where i dont have accounts in and just ask them for the rolls and pay with cash. Good luck!

  • when u show the halves u got from a day and u say this is a day..... how many rolls were in a day or boxes

  • Usually hunted 2 boxes minimum, sometimes 4 per day.

  • Okie, I just had my first day of hunting. I bought 27 rolls or $270 in rolls. I found 8 40% kennedys and 1 90% kennedy.

  • check small rural banks if you can...i was watching one of whysilverwhyme's vids and he picked up 3 rolls of halves at a small rural bank in south Georgia...every freakin coin was silver...most were 90% franklins and there were some 40% kennedys...probably some old timer had a bunch of them at home and decided to cash them in not realizing the silver content...smaller banks probably don't cycle through halves much so they probably keep what customers cash in to have some on hand...just a tip!

  • I ordered a box of 1000 ($500) through chase, I did not find one silver piece.

  • Ooh, that's rough. What a let down, Sorry.

  • sorry to hear that... I go to chase every 2 weeks (on payday) to cash my check for rolls. Ive found a couple 40%, so they are out there dont give up!

Ive never ordered a box from chase, did they charge you a fee?

  • Decoy - I got my first box from Chase. I have an account with the. When I picked it up, they said that this one was free, but the next would have a fee attached. BTW, six 40%ers, one 90% franklin.

  • hmm well i also have an account but ive never really tried order a box. Maybe the fee wont apply at different branches? i only get whatever hand rolled that they have. I have had some luck: the best was 4 90%s (3 kennedies and 1 franklin) and 15 40%s in one roll. Thanks for the info

  • When did you get this box from chase? Was it this year?

  • Yes, lest week

  • OK, so I know it was not the bank and I am just unlucky.

  • I recently asked my bank to get me $200 in US halves. A few days later they got them and after searching the rolls I found 2 1961 franklins 2, 64 kennedys and 2, 40% kennedys. I was really supprised that it was that easy.

  • What bank do you use?

  • Buy now!!!

  • @ANTIDALLARD Of course silver and gold is going to go down in price again. But the reason for buying is for the long term investment. Not to buy and hopefully make a quick profit 6 months down the line.

    In the long term:

    Silver/gold is on the up

Dollar/pound ect is going to fall - just as useual

  • Yeah, but ye see, it used to be an agreed law of physics that property always goes up, but that assumption got washed away last year. Now nobody knows what will happen to property, cos the massive bubble burst. And I'm looking at the same pattern with this gold / silver. People like me, looking for a better return than the 2% the banks give on savings will be suckered in.

  • silver is rarer than gold, it has to shoot up
