  • I think it gets even better if the cylinders in the final video are opposite each others, so you have two cylinders in a hot are, and another two in an opposite and a colder area.

  • whispergen siemens Stirling engine should use this concept

    best regards

  • very cool representation of the cycle nature of the sterling, conversion to linear, thank you

  • camshaft.... nuff said.. nice work tho

  • @satan31337

Actually what is being presented here is a displacer connected

to one power piston is displacing the air to be heated for the next power piston,

eliminating the need for a seperate connection for the displacer connecting rod to the crankshaft.

    Brilliant.

  • yay for solidworks

  • can we tie these shafts to linear electrical generators?

  • you can download a stirling engine simulator at : .............. .jonbondy.com/software.htm

  • Cool! - Thumbs Up!

  • I'm still left wondering...why?

Are you inventing something new or expanding on a proven design?

  • That was cool. I don't understand the constant volume lines though because it looks like the piston is in motion for much of the Cv paths meaning the volume was changing.

  • Volume is nearly constant volume. Only thin displacer connecting rod make very, very small difference between start and end of the isochore. There is duct between 90 deg cylinders. When displacer moves next power piston is in place.

  • @lapere71 Hello, if You visit the web site from ergenics, they have also a few video's on You Tube and You can combinate there technik with Yours You have a free energy machine !! Good luck !

  • This idea was some what done with a gasoline motor. it had equal opposing cylinders too. better balance. I think it was really efficient.

  • what is the ideal relationship between the halfsine/halversine sections of the cam to the flat sections? It appears to be 1:1, is this correct?

  • Sines (or other symmetrical ramps) are 90deg of cam rotation angle and flat sections too. 90+90+90+90=360.

  • Nice animation, but why not just array the pistons radially around a rotating cam?

  • This is a fantastic video. Did you make these animations? I will be using this to help me get the timing correct on my home-made engine, which I will be using to produce usable energy for my home.

  • Looks Like a WisperGen

  • yep, but the controll part is inverted

  • This is nothing like whispergen. the yoke on whispergen isnt neccesary it just makes it more compact, it could easily run by a crank. this system. needs the swash plate mechanism because it is trying to attain the ideal cycle, a crank could not provide the correct motion.

  • great idea did you come up with it????

  • Pitäs kyl laittaa ja poistaa noi muut videot..

Kivaa 3d:tä ,ookko iha ite tehny?
