@alextwowin watched Alex's last few performances. GUTTED I have not rushed to buy a ticket for her concert. What an incredible performer she is. Totally underated. Totally stunning to look at, humble, and a great earthy voice. Why do the mags ignore her. She is barely on the front of any magazine. Had me in floods of tears for her ballads. Couldn't sit down for the up tempos she is just fantastic. fingers crossed she makes it in America. Deserves her success and she works her but off.

Eoghan should have won it. He won 6 out of the last 10 shows and Miss False only won 2 including (the fixed) final. i think this was definitely the best X factor yet by a clear mile. And Alexandra was the perfect winner. Don't get me wrong, i would have been happy whatever the result tonight, but Alexandra was truly outstanding and the rightful winner :)

This girl is better than Leona Lewis. Thought that impossible!! Did you know she won a radio contest recently for the best soudalike for beyonce, I think it showed on her duet tonight. I also prefer her style. Leona has an amazing voice but I prefer Alex's more soulful tones. I also think Alex is a better all round performer, she moves around the stage like a pro. As Dannii pointed out, the artists these days that do well are the ones who are amazing in concert i.e.Kylie, Madonna, Beyonce, etc. Technically speaking Kylie does not have a "great" voice, but she is MUCH more successful than people who do have superior vocals because she is a fantastic ENTERTAINER.

I was pulling for Eoghan to win, because I found him the most entertaining and endearing, but you can't deny that this girls got some vocal chops to her. She's no Leona, but no one is, and I suspect she'll have a stronger career ahead of her than some other Idol/X Factor winners.
(Though there will never be another Leona.)

OK I watched Katherine Jenkins and yes she is a good singer but you know, I prefer Alexandra's version. Alex's passion and amotion comes through, that's why her performances have impressed the judges. But I understand that your preference is different and you also have good taste in Katherine Jenkins.

Eoghan should have won it. He won 6 out of the last 10 shows and Miss False only won 2 including (the fixed) final. Cowell did no favours for Eoghan and I would say he had the phone lines rigged for another leona to win.

HonieB I don't disagree with you on the point of Alex being the better singer but she was acting as if she wasn't goin to win. Seriously her post win interview with Dermot was cringe-worthy and she looked like a tit for it. How come Eoghan received most votes for 6/10 shows and finished 3rd. Something doesn't add up. There are ways around everything and being the cynic I am lol I would say that Mr C and co did something to stop Eoghan and JLS from winning

NorthofIreland Alex was NOT acting, she was NOT fake... she had no idea that she was going to win, she was nervous and emotional at each and every results show, week after week because she knew all the glowing comments from the judges meant nothing because the audience voted. Ruth and Laura were exceptional talents, yet they left earlier than other more inferior singers.

NorthofIreland It was obvious to anyone who is sensitive and compassionate that Alex was struggling to compose herself, she was overwhelmed because in a space of a couple of hours, she had sung a duet with her #1 childhood Idol and then won a major recording contract. A young woman's two massive dreams in two hours... gees, no wonder she was emotional. You are judging her via your lack of experience in life. Give her a break and just be happy for her.

This girl is better than Leona Lewis. Thought that impossible!! Did you know she won a radio contest recently for the best soudalike for beyonce, I think it showed on her duet tonight. Also her mother is the lead singer of soul to soul, so it runs in the family. I knowbshe is emotional, but so what, the dissappointment from three years ago coming out!! Go girl!!

I also prefer her style. Leona has an amazing voice but I prefer Alex's more soulful tones. I also think Alex is a better all round performer, she moves around the stage like a pro. As Dannii pointed out, the artists these days that do well are the ones who are amazing in concert i.e.Kylie, Madonna, Beyonce, etc. Technically speaking Kylie does not have a "great" voice, but she is MUCH more successful than people who do have superior vocals because she is a fantastic ENTERTAINER.

I have the right to my opinion. If you don't like it too bad, but it's not gonna change. She has an amazing voica but that's all in my opinion. That and crying every fucking time she gets on the stage. I wish she just showed her personality on the live shows, but she didn't, she was fake. She is such a funny girl, I don't understand why she pretended to be so sad all the time, and that made me dislike her.

First of all you're an asshole who can't manage to hear a contrary opinion to the one you have without insulting people. Second, I'm really sorry for her mother but that's not the reason she was sad. If it was she would be sad in all the recent videos on the x factor page and she looks trilled. She has such an amazing personality but all I see in the live shows is boring.I'm glad she won, cause she was the best, but I just don't like her and you people need to accept that.
