  • Treadmill speed training is for precondition and 3rd gear plus focus. As Velocity Sp calls it, Max Velocity Phase. I used to believe speed training on a treadmill was pointless, and was a big advocate against it. I felt that it shut of the hams and glutes over time, causing lack of power output and increasing the chance of injury. I later found that I just didnt know how to train it properly. Treadmill training is a fantastic addition to traditional speed work...when done right.

  • Yeah the treadmill speed intervals is damn good way to lose fat, Yes I know this is not weight loss video. As a former Defensive Back for a D1AA college when I took two yrs off from working out the treadmill speed intervals got me back in football shape so I would be prepared for officer candidate school (Military). If fact I felt like I gain most of my speed back with the treadmill.
