First of all Koenigsegg is a brand not the actual car, they have have built 7 models that I know of and 5 are in production today, none of them have made it to an official street legal top speed of 257mph.. that being said, the Veyron is currently the fastest street legal PRODUCTION car in the world. The Aero is faster then the veyron, but its not in production anymore.

koenigsegg made 7 models ? Hahaah ok. thats pure fantasy. Ive been to the factory many times dude and they made the CC8 as their first car. The only significant change from that and the new, current CCX is they now build their own engine. Otherwise there are slight cosmetic upgrades and more technology. So lets call it 2 models.. Not 7. However as they tailor each car to each customer seperately, they will never build 2 cars that are exactly the same.

Sure.. Well koenigsegg claim they have built 7 different models, 2 in which are no longer in production. Take Pagani for example, they launched a new version of the zonda every other year, that doesnt make it them the same.. As long as they have different names for them I'm sure its considered a new model.. They should of told you this when you went on the factory tour..=]

Ive got a friend at the Koenigsegg factory and have visited them several times. If you want to be very anal about it.. very few Koenigseggs are exactly the same. Most of them are very speciffically built for the customer in one way or another but calling them seperate models is not entirely correct.
