  • I'm sure that woman went to school for what she does. I go to med school and they have taught me also to do it this way. Putting slight pressure with your thumb on the back of the bell a correct way of doing this. The video is about "How to Check for Blood Pressure". This video provides a very common example of one of the easiest ways to do this, even at home. Advice was provided in this video.

  • This is how to do a blood pressure correctly

  • Is that the librarian from Ghostbusters?

  • @delongedoug lol

  • pump it up to what you THINK it might be???? Who is this women!

  • um their is one thing wrong in this video first when you are pumping the gauge my nursing teacher told us to pump too 140 then let a lil of air out lil at a time till you dont hear the pulse anymore.

  • first of all she doesnt know what shes doing your not suppose to use your thumb to hold the stethescope because you have a pulse in your thumb! you can be checking your own pulse! and you should increase the gauge till like 120.

  • thats funni............"pump up the gauge what you think it might be" makes me laugh.....hehe

  • Who wants there blood Pressure cheek? I know how to do it.

  • Who wants me to cheek there Blood Pressure? I know how.

  • @1994Tino wtf country u from??

  • @mohammedlovespork What do U mean by that?

  • This is sooooooo wrong, she was not suppose to use her thumb to hold the stethoscope........OMG

  • She one of the only one to tell you how to determine the numbers.

  • you dont use your thumb when you take a patients pulse

  • what a crock of shite

  • STFU!!!

  • this old hag sucks lol

  • this is horrible !

  • This video is useless, no blood flow hints or advice, and first she is using her thumb on stethoscope which is incorrect because the thumb has its own pulse

  • @dumbfuckism

the thumb has a pulse (feeling) not a beat (noise) so it doesnt matter if u use ur thumb or not on the stethoscope just as long as u dont use ur thumb to palpate a pulse

  • @dumbfuckism thumb is fine

  • Some of the most important details were not explained (how to recognize the 1.bloodflow, etc)

  • This tells me nothing and or teaches me nothing.Try becoming a teacher and learn how to teach,so those that are watching get something out of it.

  • a bit wrong your method....

  • she sure is cheery.. wow..

  • doesnt she know the thumb has a pulse of its own. wow some doctor. it works for ppl who has done it long enough but for ppl just learning watching this the dont need to learn that way why else would they be watching this. NEVER PUT UR THUMB ON THE STETHOSCOPE!

  • The bell can't pick up a pulse from where her thumb was positioned. You have to make sure you're not using your thumb when taking a pulse. Her thumb wasn't touching the diaphragm so she was fine.

  • @girlsixdiva

No, it can. This is a stethoscope with double-head (whatever the proper english term). It is developped for adult and children measuring. Look: a big one (on the patient`s arm) and a little one where she has her finger on. This would take the baby`s values and can now take her's.

  • @WundertGarNichtsMehr ok it appears many of you need to brush up on your stethoscope skills. Go to ehow and it will explain how to use a dual head stethoscope.

  • @WundertGarNichtsMehr if you have ever used one, you know that only one side of the stethocope is active. the thumb is fine.

  • @girlsixdiva her thumb belongs up her ass

  • @joecoaker not true

  • thanx

  • Although on prescription drugs my wifes blood pressure remainder at the top end of normal. After taking Levodyn for three months the improvement has been significant and she intends to carry on with Levodyn as a really helpful supplement.

  • It didn't hurt, but it made funny noises.

  • this was very helpful thank you

  • thx alot
