Just tried this method on a big thick 100 foot extension cord, and it worked great! .I just gave a little extra room in the loop in top, made my lock knot a tad looser, and left enough slack in the ends so that they could plug in to each other when it was all tied up. This is my new favorite way to store rope, or anything rope-like. Thanks a bunch, dude!
