Exactly. They are much more subtle because of that. Karl just sounds tired these days - and the latest podcast (season 5 I think) just isn't funny.

I love these really early shows, because it was before everyone had a specific "character role". Everyone could call Ricky out on the occasional wrong fact, you could hear Karl giggle occasionally, and Smerch was himself. Loves it!
