I saw this movie when it came out in 2001 I was fifteen. It was a year after I broke up with my first boy friend. It was the first movie I had ever seen that not only showed everything I wanted in a relationship but also the kind of love I had with my first boyfriend. It hit me hard, and yes I cryed right there in the theatre, it was a little difficult to stop. That type of love, will live through everything.

I am a dude who's normally not into "chick flicks," but I love A Walk To Remember. After I first saw it, I was madly in love with Mandy Moore for WEEKS! LOL. And yes, the movie did make me cry. Having this song play over the end credits was very moving (excellent choice by the producers), and Mandy's vocals are amazing on it! So much emotion. Great song, great movie.
