  • Isn't this supposed to be a practice pad? It is loud as hell. And I can get a better sounding snare for less money. I dont' see the point.

  • The invader is so much better haha. This is basically a crappy sounding snare drum made of plastic XD

  • why doesn't remo know how to make quiet practice pads?

  • the first pad sounded better

  • the lick at 1:22 sounds like the 2011 BD snare feature haha

  • @ibrokeAstick I was thinking that too xD

  • Yes, you could get a nice, quiet, affordable invader pad, which is a very great pad, but this one is meant for simulation of a real Marching snare. Also, it fits nice in a backpack. Can you fit a whole marching snare in your backpack? No. Don't complain if you haven't tried it. Thank you.

  • why not just buy a drum..? one of the most pointless least practical drumming products ive ever seen.

  • i use two pads a vic firth tunable and an evans real feel 12 inch not the best but all together i spent 70 dollars

  • If anyone has one of these they'd be willing to sell please message me! I'm looking for just about any size right now, but would prefer one smaller than 12. I'm writing a piece that requires one but i don't have one yet. Thanks a lot!

  • Not for me. But he's excellent.

  • invader pad. all day errday

  • they created practice pads for 2 reasons 1. because they are quieter and 2. so you dont ruin or damage your heads while practicing this thing defeats the purpose pf being quiet but how ever you do get to see what it sounds like on a snare drum without ruining the heads on your real drum while practicing so in the long run those 200 dollars you spent on this atleast you wont be wasting it on buying new heads from practicing on your kit to see how it sounds

  • Tick

    CUT

  • Jojo Mayer kills this thing at the Modern Drummer Festival 2005. Awesomeness

  • with the fraction of a cost being 1/360 off a marching snare

  • buy a real snare drum for that much =D

  • sounds like a machine gun :p

  • It kinda defeats the purpose of a practice pad....

It should be quieter, it seems about as loud as a real marching snare... and I looked it up; it's like 250$, about as much as a full marching snare. Hah. Smart idea, but there should be a way to take the snares off so it'll be quieter.

  • Actually, it would be nice to have the snares on, but to be quieter like the Pro*mark pad.

  • @Blacktide212 HAHA, dumbass there is.

  • Quite? Nope. Very Portable? No. Affordable? Hell no.

  • @SasquatchGroove YEs they can be, yes they are, and yes they are. Do some reseatch little bitch.

  • @mhsquads4869 no kid, they arent quite. do youre ears work? the pad is bulky as hell, youd be a tool to carry around. and if you think that $200+ is an affordable price then you must be smoking crack. do some research little bitch? really? get off my dick.

  • I thought the whole idea behind a practice pad was it to be quite?

  • Were you playing the Flams exercise at the beginning?

  • why doesn't this guy just raise the stand?

  • @TheHondarider28 well yeah it seems like a lot but you have to think about what this actually is dude. this is BASICALLY a snare drum, it even has snares and a black max head, and it's tunable.

  • @TheHondarider28 aobut 300

  • i think he's forced to bend down because that is a normal snare stand that wont go high enough.

  • You could the same thing out of an invader, or you could spend $100 more and buy a dynasty

  • @A7Xblood

Some people don't have 100 dollars more.

  • i kinda thought the idea off a practice pad wass to practice so you could practice rudiments ect quitely and not piss your nabours off

  • thats whats up so sweet whats the cost

  • This guys form sucks. Look at his shitty posture.

  • Turn your wrist over on your right hand too.. This guys form is all off in this video. Besides, if I want to practice on something like that, I'll just play my drum.. The point of a practice pad (at least in my eyes) is to be able to play and practice quietly. That thing is so loud it's pointless.

  • Why do you drop your shoulder like that?

  • and with it being that loud you could probably save money and just use your snare.

  • 1:45 "a child could do it" and he drops it....

  • Dude, do you always lean over and droop your left shoulder when you play? Did you know that your snare drum stand can TILT!?

(Drumlines need to wake up and stop causing so many kids to develop tendonitis.)

  • Thank you for your concern. We can meet, and in most cases beat, any legitimate internet pricing. Our phone number is at the end of the video. Please give us a call.
