I hate to admit it, but that asdf or half-asdf or whatever it is is starting to look like a legit full asdf. The contact points could theoretically be on opposite sides of the COG since the arm hinge is turned so much (aka hand is raised so much). If it is a legit asdf, it's barely, but that doesn't mean it's not legit. I can't figure out for sure until I learn more polar geometry and stuff, but it's looking good so far.

AHA, I got it. The smaller lines (hand part) of what rabid thought was an asdf aren't tilted forwards, so that part doesn't really speed him up. it's to an asdf what a half fling is to an alt fling.

It's either a double fling or an asdf.

I'm not completely sure if this is true, but it looks like the hand and the spidey and hand are pulling the wells, so my guess would be it's an asdf.

Hedge, I'm confused by your explination of an asdf. Correct me if I'm wrong, but what I got from it is a fling with 2 wells on the same side of gravity that pull him in the same direction, speeding him up.

SDF, (sorry for the late response)

One could say that an alt fling is wells in with directional components in alternating directions perpendicular to Bosh's overall path so that the entire set of lines speeds him up, but that would include half flings in the definition of alt flings. The accepted [unspoken] definition of an alt fling, from what I understand, is the definition above, as well as the additional rule that both sets of lines need to have a directional component in the (cont'd)

direction of the path parallel to it, so that both sides of it speed him up, making half flings different in definition from alt flings.

However, we can't extend this definition into asdfs, because their unidirectional nature makes them polar (when gravity is subtracted), not cartesian, so you can't look at the direction alone. I've solved this by looking at the slope instead, except it doesn't quite work exactly this way for reasons I cannot fit into this comment. PM me for more explanation.

That's not an alt fling. :P Alt flings pull in two different directions.

Gravity rolling? Basically, you use many different types of wells to make him rotate. Make a shoulder well, then a hand well, then spidey, bottom nose, foot, tail, head, hand, etc... To get it as polished as I have it here just takes patience and experience (super-zoom really helps too). I may make a full tut if I get a lot of interest, but I kind of fail at tutorials. :(
