Claude Arrieu Sonatine for Flute and Piano

How wonderful! I had no idea that Arrieu was a woman. The first name Claude is, of course, shared by Debussy. It's clearly one of those names that can be for a boy or a girl :-)

The articulation and sound actually reminds me of Marcel Moyse. If you're only coming back to the flute after a long time, I'm sure it wouldn't take you long to get up to speed. Well, it sounds like you're already up to speed (listening while I type!).

You're welcome, i play it quite a bit faster than the tempo described on the sheet music i have for it, but think it sounds better!
