My Master told me that enlightenment is only the beginning. Liberation is completely different from it. Therefore one can still be in bondage and yet know that the true Self is ever free. There are varying degrees of "knowing" this and they fluctuate always throughout life and beyond. Liberation comes via grace and that not of yourselves, if I may borrow from the Christian theology. When one is liberated there is no such thing as liberation let alone enlightenment.

If you think you can get Private Pilot License for Helicopter without knowing newtons laws I dont think I need to continue this conversation. He drives cars at an average speed of 210Km on INDIAN roads. I have rarely seen people drive half at that speed in India. Is anyone else other than Sadhguru ever enlightened by following Isha Yoga methods?

There are advanced Isha yoga Programs, does that mean the basic programs are not good enough to attain enlightenment?

I agree with the health benefits of doing Yoga, I have never heard of anyone else getting enlightened other than the Guru.. which I believe is the purpose of Isha yoga

@juniorktr After attending inner engineering, I worked on myself and continued non-stop contemplating on Truth about me and my creation. I experienced an intense awakening(samadhi) in which I experienced oneness with the source of creation (nirvikalpa samadhi). Its not complete self realization though. Everything depends on the individual. How desperate he is to know, that easily he will get it.

@divinita1000 Less than 0.005% ppl in the world actually experience these states. Even less than that are actually enlightened completely. If you want to belong to this category imagine how you must be and how your desire to know must be. Buddha, Jesus etc belonged to this category. You can too but you need to walk the path and it isn't easy. Just coz there is an organisation doesn't mean that spirituality can be sold. Books and teachers can only help you so much.But if you are determined-sure.

I don't think that's what the guy means - obviously you can't always be happy and you wouldn't be able to appreciate happiness if you have never experienced sorrow. This is a question of prescribing significance to things - human beings tend to prescribe greater importants to the times they are looking for happiness and to ignore the importance of times when they have actually achieved it. Many people forget to appreciate what they have and focus on what they don't, allowing greed to take over.

I think what the guy is saying is that while striving for a better world is human and good, such greed is what makes us forget why we are striving on the first place, not allowing us to cherish the moments when we are actually happy, making us blind for the little but important things in line. And while it's truet that we were given emotions by God, it is more often than not we ourselves that induce these emotions in our own hearts, either poisoning our minds or freeing our own spirit

It may be a small video, but the impact is likely to be life transforming. A doorway to joyous living. And I am telling from my experience, after going through the 7 day Isha Yoga Program. It so happened that problems simply vanished in the thin air. You can simply listen to what sadhguru says. Life is beautiful. And sadhguru says that it is just the beginning. It is really mysterious that how can life be more beautiful than what I am experiencing. The journey is infinite and exciting.
