  • 2:18 lmao! they should have kept that line in the original edit. lol

  • Man, I wouldn't wish triage duty (what the female lead was doing with the wounded soldiers outside the hospital) on my worst enemy.

  • This came out in may of 2001 yamamotos line of waking a sleeping giant was true. 4 months later terrorists repeated that mistake.

  • @SSJ4TOM if you didnt notice, america provoked the terrorists to attack...

  • @FootballFan428 If you didn't notice, America has been stomping them ever since they attacked. Don't fuck with sleeping giants.

  • @FootballFan428 And, according to Wikipedia, the coalition has killed somewhere around 38,721 insurgents in Afghanistan alone. Something you don't see on the 'elite' news media since those numbers run against their agenda.

  • The only thing this video is missing is the top gun anthem.

  • we awoken a sleeping giant.

    giant = godzilla

  • whats the song that starts at 2:45?

  • @USMCSergent18 the song is called courage

  • the biggest mistake that japan did in ww-2...to mess with the u.s!!!!

  • Plot was mundane, and the love story really killed it. Still, the music and action scenes are damn good.

  • i don;t think it's a bad movie. it's been a decade and still brings my emotions into it everytime i watch it.

  • Comment removed

  • they started it and we finished it.

  • favorite part @3:33 to 3:36 that little zero vs the sound of that p40 warhawk American muscle of a plane. Whoops I need to change my panties haha. Love it. Thanks for the upload!

  • @LastBlastOfMy45 fuck yeah! that's the Allison V-1710 for ya!

  • 4:34 You can see the pilot ejecting.

  • Wow I never thought of what the women went through. An amazing movie

  • 10:11

The final meaning of the attack to Pearl Harbour

  • after the attack and we began kicking there ass the japs said "we have awoken the sleeping giant" nvr fuck wit america on a sunday eva

  • @monkeykingenma i agree PISS OFF MOTHER FUCKER PIECE OF SHIT ASSY FUCK JAPAN YOU BASTERDS!

  • @PvtMarx45 a lil over the top der....... O_O it happeneed like 70 yrs ago just relax... besides japs cool now

  • @PvtMarx45 as well intended as your comment may have been there is no need for such rudness in resorting to caps lock and profanity.

  • Of all days they had to attack us on a holy day.

  • well japans ass got kicked for that the atom bombs were good revenge for pearl harbor

  • @GJJDGDJJF, while well intended, your comment is as naive as anyone who believes peace is ever achievable on a world-wide scale. So long as human nature exists, and each man is entitled to their own opinions and beliefs (which should never change), there will be strife and conflict (both large and small) over certain discrepancies. There's no getting around that. Some things are worth fighting for, and others, not so.

But to completely remove war from the Earth is to completely remove humans.

  • @dudeintheback49 I don't believe in your last statement.

  • @dudeintheback49 smartest thing I've ever read on this topic. Cheers sir.

  • @dudeintheback49 your right

  • if i see the full movie 50 times in a row i'd still get goosebumps all over,i swear to God!

this movie is way beyond feeling...it's almost visceral ^^

  • 02:35 shotgun to the face!

  • Make that 7:56

  • Bruce Willis Cameo! Pause the clip at 7:57. Not only does he make an appearance, but he comes IN CHARACTER as John MacClane from Die Hard. Yippee Kay Yay

  • A couple of pilots did get airborne, and did get some kills. Do your research before spouting off. I would also

say the Japanese learned not to wake us up on Sunday morning.

  • @MrStraycatt But they were in P-36's not P-40s

  • @MrStraycatt

Hopefully the Chinese won't try anything similar...

  • well his fears were correct and the japs did wake a sleeping giant which then kicked their ass

  • @sirwolf787 for four year of charging an island atleast 20 times each. yeah we totally kicked there ass. if the nukes weren't used we might have lost the war in the pacific

  • @wolffromsteam Wouldn't say we would have lost the Pacific war, because the japs had been pushed all the way back to the mainland. if the atomic bombs weren't dropped, it would have just resulted in the invasion of Japan.

  • The person who dislike this will be nuked with rice by the Jappanese.

  • @SuperAhmadkarim I bet you're a Muslim faggot aren't you. Nobody is portraying ourselves as victims, the Japs took us by surprise so this is the scene of that day. The USA kicks as and doesn't take names, we kicked the shit out of those zipperheads once we got mobilized. You're just mad that we are the most powerful force in the world. Nobody wants your sympathy you fucking jeep jockey, you're probably an office working drone and those men that died that day wouldn't want sympathy.

  • @SuperAhmadkarim because on that sunday morning, we were victims. The Japs were blood thirsty animals who got what was coming to them. They started it, we finished it. That seems to be how it always starts.

  • @marvelmax03191 The Soviet Red Army won the WW2

  • @TheAnibalBarca in europe ya, I'll agree with that. But we won in the Pacific. But it wasn't just us, it was all an ALLIED victory.

  • @TheAnibalBarca The soviet red army was only a part of it. Had the D-Day invasions not happened, Germany would have been able to focus on the USSR and annihilate it entirely. It was an allied effort that paid off.

  • @RedneckRapture man... your comments r so stupid. its like u r a student at west point or something. UssR maybe would have collapsed without usa's aid in the beggining of the war. usa's help in materials and trucks and other resourses helped the russians a lot to survive. but after kursk germany COULD NOT win the ussr with or without DDAY... dday just helped to end the war a little bit faster. .. nothing else. strategic bombings by the RAF and the b17s helped russia a lot more than dday.

  • @vonzuchter Like the bouncing Bomb :)

  • @RedneckRapture After 1943 Russia was unbeatable even if germany surrendered to the allies and they both attacked the ussr (Pattons proposal and many non nazi germans ,including those who tried to assasinate hitler wanted this) i believe that the russians would have won. Unless of course USA deployed atomic weapons which they would because the red army at 1945 was unbeatable. One of the greatest whatifs in history.

  • @vonzuchter So that's why, for three years, Stalin BEGGED the US and Britain to open another front? That's why the Soviets lost 8.5 MILLION troops, and had another 19 million civilians killed. That's why every USSR offensive before America's entry failed? Wake up. Before the US entered the war, the USSR was on the brink of defeat. Their population still hasn't recovered from the loss of men. (.85 men to every woman compared to .96 in France.) There's no what if about it.

  • @SuperAhmadkarim

    Victims? Devils?

It's just showing them attacking and people dying.

    That's what happened.

It's not like every war is just the same like you're saying either.

  • Hirohito is the only one who dislike the video...

  • @blacksplicer04

Nah, it was Prime Minster Tojo. He ordered the attack on Pearl Harbor. Hirohito was being manipulated by the politicians and the military.

  • Just goes to show what war does to us.Damn.

  • Anyone know the name of the track that begins as they start shooting back, just after Rafe says "Lets head for Battleship row"

  • The 2 guys got 10 of 29 japanese planes!!! awesome

  • Am I the only one who realized the a in Harbor in the title is f***ed up???

  • @hiflyer358 Why do you think it hasn't been taken down yet :p

  • @Silent7hinker lol beats the hell outta me

  • @techlogi7 will then you might as well start by killing yourself you cynical fuck up

  • Fish face

  • The medical scene is just pure horror... war is a terrible thing.

  • Rest in Peace, American Marines...From South Korean Student...

  • "I fear all we have done is awaken a sleepinggiant"-Yamamoto......And the giant finished on august 6th 45' Its a shame the usa has become the world police but we have taken this job. We are hated but we keep the peace. We deflate small conflicts before they become world wars. When we fall you will really see how the peace with die

  • fuck the japs but i still like their soup though

  • we were stronger than the japanese in the world war 2 and we will always be strong

  • we were stronger than the japanese in the world war 2 and we will always be strong

  • To GJJDGDJJG its called Freewill and Reality...

  • Why the Japanese turned evil in WWII, when we were allies in WWI, I'll never know. Everyone take into consideration this, this may be a movie, but everything in parts 1, 2, and 3 are almost exactly what happened. That whats makes this so great. BTW anyone else notice that 1998-2003 was such a huge war movie era?

  • @happyroflmonkey yeah beacuse US was going to war against terrorism

so they wanted to brainswash young men by making these kind of movies

    pump the youth up

  • It really looks like they're fighting at the skies .

  • Comment removed

  • this is why i want to be at the back when in a chase

  • she seemed relieved when she saw danny and rafe alive

  • The Japanese admiral was clearly just a wise man involved in a terrible ordeal...

  • 6:30- 6:55 just makes me cry

  • @booger965 There was so much oil in the harbor that you couldn't tell whether a person was white or black.

  • i almost went into tears seeing that little dog at 9:20 :(

  • the war in the Pacific was almost completely won by fighter and bomber pilots... i only wish i could have been there, it actually is my dream to somehow pilot one of those fighters... I salute you who bravely gave your lives for the freedom of others.

  • 5:57 is very sad

  • 6 Zeros at the start, 3 eventually join in, and we even see a Naginata in lead of the first fly-by. Over 15 minutes of combat (how long do you think it took Earl from the air strip all the way to that '10-story tower'?) and they get out unscathed? And even manage to take out a few Zeros? Flying through a depot alley in a P-40? Shit like this is why Americans think they're invincible.

  • @DeeStylistic Well, a couple P-40s did make it into the air and shot down 3 Japanese planes. Granted, they came from behind them and got the shit shot out of them as a result, nothing at all like the ridiculousness seen here. Hell, two P-51s would have been SOL taking off with five Zeroes behind while TAKING THE FUCK OFF.

  • @educatedcockroach a P-51 wasnt invented yet but no, the P-51 is much faster than a zero. the P-51's top speed was 650 MPH. really fast for the time. it was the fastest prop plane during the war era that actually served and wasnt experimental. BTW im not saying its all great because its american, because its not. it combines American AND British engineering to create the best fighter ever assembled.

  • @TheMGOkilla Even the best fighter is incredibly vulnerable while taking off. Even the great P-51 (which wasn't around yet, correct) would've been in trouble until it got enough altitude to use that famous speed and climb rate. For example the Me-262, the first combat jet, the most unbeatable dogfighter of the war, was shot down in droves by prop fighters while taking off and landing.

  • @educatedcockroach oh yes, every plane did have a signifigant weakness on takeoffs. i didnt read your comment good enough. i didnt read your TAKING OFF part. i thought you just meant in speed. even though the Japenese planes were pracically paper planes with guns and red dots on them. those things were nothing when it came to defensive armor.

  • @educatedcockroach Well, one P-40 (Joe was the one on it) was shot down by a couple of Japanese planes, so originally that would've been 3 P-40's. but since he died, it was only Danny and Rafe on board the Warhawks.

  • A lil better than the theatrical version, but not much. A couple r-rated violence shots, but little difference elsewhere.

  • A P-40 turning inside a Zero? Talk about stretching believablity.

You think they could have at least dedicated another thirty seconds to Nagumo so people could understand the situation he was in at the time which lead to his decision.

Petty Officer-Massive damage against Pearl Harbor, only 29 planes lost.

Nagumo- What of the three American Carriers stationed at Pearl Harbor?

    Petty Officer- Um...they're not there.

    Nagumo- What! Where are they?

    Petty Officer- We don't know.

  • i honestly don't see how war really benefits the world...

  • @Mrmusicmaster88 It helps us keep the population in order. Hurr.

  • @Perilix Lol i understand that part, but other than that, we could use the resources to build magnificent things, some people who died in wars might be geniuses and could have benefited the world with an invention or discovery (not the type where "oh i put a 9mm in his head, and it went pop :P")

  • What song is this at 9:30.

  • Fuck they turned the paradise on earth into a hell.

  • The uncut version is really slightly better. Now the attack is much more real.

  • Does ANYONE know the song at 2:50? I've been searching it for ages and can't find it

  • these scenes should have no music, that just kind of removes the feeling of a warlike movie. saving private ryan uses no music and its much better

  • Why can't we have peace in this world!? For christ sakes we are all fucking human aren't we. We all have families who we love! Why must we kill?! Share this world and we all will live in a happy better place.

  • @GJJDGDJJF because people beyond the circles we know want to hurt us. You can either choose to protect the ones you love or allow them to be killed.

  • @GJJDGDJJF exactly what you said we are all just human thats why

  • @GJJDGDJJF lol i WISH that was possible. not all people are pot smoking hippies like yourself. we cant get along. there shall ALWAYS be people who want to do harm to others. as you said we are all humans and have our flaws. there are advantages to war as well as flaws. the biggest advantage is there is a great number of jobs during and after leading to a great economy in the winning country. while the biggest downside is human losses. well, we all have flaws, you said it yourself.

  • @TheMGOkilla How do you know that GJDGDJJF is a, "pot smoking hippy?" Maybe it's just someone who doesn't understand why people can't get along. That is certainly a valid question. Also fighting a war to "create jobs" is no reason for war. We fight, or at least we are suppose to fight to preserve our freedom and to help those who can't defend themselves. If this is your outlook as to why we should go to war then you have some growing up to do, bud.

  • @doggsector ok sorry for the long time to respond. i was saying that it helps the economy of the winning country. never said that it should be done for that reason. i dont think that wars should happen for any reason other than to protect your own country. as i said earlier i never said we should have wars for jobs, i was just pointing out it does do something other than killing people.

  • @GJJDGDJJF Peace is boring. It's the simple truth.

  • @firebush31 prime thinking right there is why humans kill each other >.>.....

  • @GJJDGDJJF we can't have peace because we are humans. humans fuck up

  • @GJJDGDJJF well you said it "christ"

  • @GJJDGDJJF because some people have this idiotic and fucking stupid idea that they are superior in some way to another there fore they feel entitled even though we all have about as much self-worth as a dead dog. its people like you with a sense of selflessness and kindness that really need most in the world but as long as there's need for wealth, power and pride im sad to say there will always be mindless slaughter T>T

  • @GJJDGDJJF well you said it yourself, were human, it's in our nature to destroy each other. You can't deter instinct.

  • @GJJDGDJJF I certainly understand your frustration and desire for peace. As General Douglas Macarthur once said, " The soldier always prays for peace." However as long as men reject the idea that "ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL," and have the right to pursue happiness which are inalienable rights endowed by their Creator; men like Hirohito, Hitler and Osama Bin Laden will fight against those rights. From time to time we are called on to defend that very freedom and sometimes die for it.

  • @GJJDGDJJF We kill because we are human.

  • @GJJDGDJJF i love peole like you, u know the ones who dont troll n say bomb them or kill em all. glad to c another person othr than myself who has common sense n a heart of some kind. you arent alone man

  • @GJJDGDJJF

Shutup faggot. Humanity is disgusting, every human is either hiding hidden scars of passed trauma or has done something to cause another pain. Humanity is disgusting, might as well kill each other.

  • @techlogi7 I'm curious, if you really hate humanity THAT much why not just kill yourself because your human just like the rest of us

  • @GJJDGDJJF

Sometimes people dont want peace. And some think it is unnatainable cause as people we are not perfect. We wont agree on every detail. But if it is possible. It will be hard or next to impossible to acheive. World peace is not something easy to get. Wars must be fought...and sadly people will have to die for their or for others beliefs. I am saying you are wrong I like the way you think of the matter. But sometimes things are beyond even our control sadly.

  • @GJJDGDJJF "The unprovoked, sudden and deliberate attack by japan" -FDR...............some dont want to live in peace together. They want what they want and they do whatever it takes to get it. Thats when we come in to protect the peace. We have kept the peace as best we can for the most part for 65 years and 14 days. Starting thhis day we have fought for peace. We will continue to keep the peace. This is the only way we know how. Sevral thousand were last since ww2. 70 million in 4 years of ww2

  • @GJJDGDJJF hippie

  • @GJJDGDJJF But war is a great way to keep the worlds population in check.

  • @GJJDGDJJF I asked myself the same question..., and the sadly answer is very simply: BECAUSE OF THE MONEY.

  • @GJJDGDJJF i agree to bad some people don't

  • @GJJDGDJJF Easy, war is a great business for most of the countries, therefore u may imagine the rest of it

  • @GJJDGDJJF world peice will never happen

  • @GJJDGDJJF Because people do not believe in "peace" until its by their terms so we must make sure it is by our terms. Then Peace will be a good thing.

  • @GJJDGDJJF There will never will be total world peace so we have to prevent war by keeping armies up. Cold truth.

  • @GJJDGDJJF because its in human nature to destroy ourselves

  • @GJJDGDJJF Yea man we just cant have presidents that fuck shit up thats what i think all these fucking resouces war is fucked

  • @GJJDGDJJF Well, Japan had assholes back then, they were the ones who fucking raided America by attacking Pearl harbor. America did nothing to deserve this kind of shit. But let's just be glad now America and Japan are living peacefully in our decade.

  • Chicken FTW !

  • This is how bad it is there .. But worst , its just a movie , not the real thing yet ..

  • I still cry at parts of this movie! RIP to all of those who lost thier lives!!!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!

  • 7:39 poor Betty, she was a sweetheart.

  • "how do you like when someones shooting back you"

    cheezy but awesome

  • As a nursing student, triage will not work. Too many injuries, too many lives. Save as many lives as you can.

  • as a nursing student, triage won't be effective!

  • yay aint war a nice thing.................

  • "I fear all that we have done is awoken a sleeping giant".

  • Slant-eyed cocksuckers..........hahahahaaaaaaaaaaa...

  • @Casper39500 You say that now, but when it comes down to it, any one of those Japanese fighter pilots probably had more balls than you ever will.

  • @Casper39500 well, the Japanese bombing Pearl Harbor was real. Too bad two Americans lucky shooting at Japanese was FAKE.

  • @mrAZcardinal Actually, there were 8 American pilots who managed to get airborne during the attack, and they managed to down at least 6 Japanese planes.

  • @BFGfreak really 8? I know of two for sure. Lemme go check that.

  • @mrAZcardinal False. Two American pilots did enter the sky and shot down seven Jap Zero's.

  • seriously from 8:06 is really emotional and i'm thinking, why couldn't michael bay show more of that i mean the film isn't shit but it could've done alot more, whatever i still kinda liked this movie.

  • @Mattrdog i didnt say they didnt give us a good fight and i didnt say they weren't good but we still won. dont mess with America. no we don't always have the best of everything but we do pretty damn good and we always win in the end

  • @sorrowsofthewicked We always win in the end? We got our asses handed to us in Vietnam, and we're getting our asses handed to us in the Middle East right now.

  • @Salguine as long as we're free we can't be doin too damn bad can we? as long as the men and woman over there are fighting to the best of their ability we're kickin ass

  • @sorrowsofthewicked Whatever.

  • I always wondered: What exactly is the function of that odd lever/mechanism in the cockpit the Japanese Pilot had to pull on twice before firing? Is he chamber the first round of the guns in the wings?

  • Comment removed

  • @manny88448

    @manny88448

Machine gun cocking levers for charging the MGs. There were two machine guns in the cowling of the Zero and the breach ends actually protruded into the cockpit. As the war went on most fighter planes had electric charging switches but having the charging handle actually in the cockpit was more reliable because there was no electric wires to short out. Even the best aviation machine guns seized in combat and had to be charged to resume firing.

  • damn man... can u tell me is this movie...u just took a short brief or...wat?

i want to watch the fulll movie... or is it full just 3 part?

    pls reply....

  • on the pg13 version he says- "lets get this jap sucker" on the R -rated he says "come on you slant eyed cock sucker"

  • @MrOyysch

Yes we have degenerated. We're more nationalistic, racist and unaccepting than we ever were back then.

It's funny to think that in four years time it'll have been a hundred years since WW1 and the 'Pride in the Empire' mentality remains deepset in the 'Allies' Nations.

  • Some of the parts in the movie are not easy to watch. I think it's the music with people suffering that makes it hard.

  • Very nice and very expensive special effects but...it seems like the director of the film thought the attack on Peal Harbor was some stupid video game from Xbox-360. If I were a veteran watching Ben Affleck waging a one-man war against the Japanese pilots, who then had 7-10 years of service experience and were probably the best in the world, I'd take offense...

  • @monsterzeroJr This was in 2001... prior to Xbox 360.

  • This was a pretty incredible sequence in an otherwise very mediocre film.

  • Whats the theme called in 02:50 ?

  • 1:58 A different example of a Kamikaze.

  • @sorrowsofthewicked "Blood, Sweat, and Tears." What did ya expect?

  • pearl harbor a terible tragity thousands dead and wounded so much suffering yet only a timbit of what was to come and what was the point so more people could die in that all consuming war?

  • this is why this movie doesn't suck look at all this tragedy.... all those people..... in the past

  • 'Dont touch me you jap.. take your hands off me.' lol typical dumb american remark. A doctor trying to help him out and gets told to take his hands off him.. I'd have written D for death on his forehead if I were that doctor.

  • @vlag I'm sure that if by some twist of fate, an American doctor in Japan would have been welcomed with open arms. Or a German doctor in Russia. Or a Jewish doctor in Germany. "Typical dumb American remark." You can't just use your own mindset today and automatically think you would still feel the same way over 70 years ago. Especially if you're on the verge of death. At least some Americans can understand those were different times and how to use empathy.

  • @McLarson309 *over 60 years ago

  • @McLarson309 By saying typical dumb American, you are stating that all Americans are dumb. That is not the case. Be mindful of the audience you say things like that around please. Semper fi

  • @lilpep116 Just to clarify, I was criticizing the user "vlag," who originally made the "typical dumb American" comment.

  • Japan = PearlHabor USA = Hiroshima

  • "how do you like it someone shooting back at you!" great line!

  • >>philipejc2

    This is that Roosevelt hoped.

He was pleased to hear the Pearl Harbor attacked. (truth)

The history that you learnt at the school is not true.

It is "Convenient history. " for the United States.
