@Blondiea764 I love my '02 VW Jetta 1.8T. Even with the stock 180 hp it's fast and mean. The turbo and torque comes in at a low 1950 rpm, something no N/A v6 or v8 can match, therefore it pulls faster than most 200-230 hp v6 cars. The best part, with a couple simple mods, (chip tuning, intake, exhaust, better intercooler) and the 1.8T will easily put out 230-240 hp and 280 ft lbs. Don't knock it til you try it.

the b6 s4 just isant worth modding...cai doesent do anything at all....long tube headers are a whopping $2500 and exhaust is basically all you can do ( and chip) you can make an a4 a lot better...they get better gas millage, lighter,handle better, a lot easier to mod.

I have a 2004 a4 quattro, same color! got the APR loaded chip ( stage 2+) with the 104 octane program, cat back exhaust, APR carbon intake, the diverter valve, and some cosmetic shit(: fucking love it. fucks up all the rice and rados (silverados) at my school, and it still does great in the Alaskan winters!

@alf8776 Well, since you don't know much, let me share some knowledge on the B6(my model year A4 and S4) chassis. Since I own both currently, I will speak on both car's behalf. B6 S4 has a N/A 4.2l V8 with almost ZERO room for a FI (forced induction) application. It can be done, for approx. $20k for the setup after custom fab. parts/labor (JHM). So you take a $20k B6 S4, add $20k = 500awhp~$40k. OR, you take the PROVEN 1.8l $10k B6 A4, stroke it to full 2.0l + FI setup $10k = 500awhp~$20k.

JHMotorsports is working on a kit, but it will cost in the $10k range, plus a motor rebuild ($5k), plus the labor for the build($5k). Also, my A4 is faster than my S4 already, and I have not even touched the motor in the A4. Now, when my built motor and custom HTA3586r goes in, it will put down 2X(min) more power than my S. So before you start spouting off on a topic you know nothing about, do your research...

@jaistwin2009 Thats funny, VF Engineering has a 5 psi supercharger setup for that model and I also believe STS has a universal remote kit for it....only need to get the custom tune. Thats with stock internals so for $20k the S4 would have FI with all the necessary bolt ons. ( 10K for SC, approx 1500 for custom tune then rest on exhaust or whatever) But you know everything to be known about cars so I pardon myself for my inferior knowledge. Research done know, time for you to go back to school!
