would all of you just shut the fuck up with the religious shit & appreciate the music, Finnish melodic death metal in the same league as early kalmah, norther & children of bodom
@boutdredlav Yeah & the whole western world is supposedly Christian also, who gives a fuck its all about the music go to church for that shit this is metal, any band that doesn’t have anything to say should just shut the fuck up.. if you have a message.. define it!! even if it is about God or whatever.
@boutdredlav & i find it very idiotic & a shame that the collective metal community has avoided this great band just because of you people tagging it & preaching about christianity, slayer talk about christianity also so whats the problem?.
@GoldenGateNum9 if they avoid it because its tagged as Christian, that's their own problem. Nothing is stopping them from listing to it. You don't have to be a Christian to like it. If you like the music who cares if its Christian or not? And the reason people tagged it as Christian and talk about Christianity in the comments is because its a Christian band. So I really don't get what your problem is. listen to it if you like it, don't listen to it if you don't.
Satanic Creature, you are a great creature !! Did Satan change his character ? : P The first of its kind which Satan would have ever "created" ! and one of the Biggest Mistake of satan ! : P
@Pezablez Crimson Thorn's sound changed a bit it sounds like; I dig it. Crimson Moonlight, good one. I like what I've heard of Soul Embraced and Mortification is classic. By looking up those vids I stumbled upon some Antestor. Thanks! :D
@chirhoxcore Thanks, dude! Becoming the Archetype is BEAST. I really dig that they balance heavy music with substantial lyrics. All the glory to Him, it seems. Thanks :D
@Pancrestus how are you? you might want to check out monotheist, vardoger, antestor, etc, if your interested I know a few brazilian Christian metal bands, blessings.
@Pancrestus it depends on the gnere you like, here are some other Christian bands,, sacrificium, In vain, arnion, scourged flesh, Vakaavandring, tell me what ya think?
@MrHorizonte12 I dig that thrash sound of Arnion...I need to check up on their lyrics more tho. See, I can get into most any good type of music but lately I've had another random metal kick, but I don't want to listen to something that doesn't glorify God. Good stuff!
@Pancrestus i'm glad someone cares about the lyrical content of their music, i don't do non-christian metal except for ones with positive message (Few and far between) but it's frustrating to see christians who don't give a crap about the lyrics in their music.
@thesoundoftruthaild If the lyrics don't glorify God, I'd rather listen to something that does.I especially won't listen to music that advocates a lifestyle I don't want to live. Glorify God, that's what it is all about. Some Christians don't have a desire to know Him more and that could be part of the problem
I'm amazed at how bands like In Flames and such don't interest me anymore now that im really into extreme metal, but Immortal Souls still stack up in my top 10 bands of all time, especially in the winter, pure magic, shoveling snow becomes something to look forward to : ), and even though I have moved away from Christianity and religion in general, i really respect the fact that Immortal Souls use Winter, Christianity, Positive themes, and inner reflection so well lyrically.
@GTASbo0mst1ck compared to Mortification, whos use of Christianity is lyrically ignorant and lame, Immortal Souls can integrate Christianity with their lyrics in a much more impressive way. I love how positive they are about winter! Positive and Forstbitten? Indeed! ...10 months after i first heard them and still one of my favourite bands. Amazing band. I will be listening to Immortal Souls for years to come \m/ : D
@MetaIIifan I was just getting into extreme metal when i made that comment, and i was a catholic back then, I didn't know what to expect, the sheer quality blew me away because i hadn't really heard much amazing Melodeath then. the Christian factor didn't really affect the quality, i just had put that there because Christian extreme metal was new to me, and this was some of the best melodeath I had heard then
Christian Melodeath...Who would have thought it would be this good...just started listening to these guys today, and they are now one of my fave metal bands
The Finnish melodeth sound,,i love this,,Check out these other awesome finnish bands,,if you want something in this style of melodic death metal,(Imperanon) "Stained", (Evemaster) "Wither",(Blind Stare) "Symphony Of Delusions",or if you want the ultimate Band that have perfected that early Norther/Children Of Bodom Style (even Betterd it) than check out "Skyfire" they are sweedish not finnish though, fucking amazing band, "Spectral"...nuff said
Most Melodic death metal incorporates power metal influence just as much as Death metal influence.
Infact, old CoB were a power metal band but people don't notice it because of the vocal style. I like it because i normally don't like the poppy style of ordinary power metal but i like the sound so this is basically power metal with balls.
