  • if this guitar had a floyed rose i was gana get it

  • How much did that cost?

  • i bet he gets that alot hahaha

  • kirk !! D: !

  • u look like kirk

  • u look kirk

  • Pretty guitar... i think buy this guitar in this year... o possibiliment the warrior of jackson.

  • its kirk hammet

  • hello man i need your help :(

what string gauge are you using?...i changed to 0.10 but now i feel the guitar very hard yo play....i played several .10 guitars before...and its very unconfortable...:( what can i do? go back to 0.09? or add ajust the springs? (i added 1 alredy)

  • @davidarkzero What tuning are you playing in? If you're always in E, I'd suggest staying in 9, or maybe heavy bottom 9's. But yea, definitely worth re-setting it up, if you don't like the feel \m/

  • Hows the floyd rose on this beast?

    Any good?

  • It's not a Floyd its an Edge Ibanez tremolo and their fantastic

    @thefreezingmoon1

  • i love this guitar, i just don't like the upside down head. to me they all just look dumb

  • The headstock is actually the least of my problems with this beast....I've been having absolutely crap-luck trying to re-string it in the past, almost to the point that I'm scared to touch it!

Pffffftttt....XD. Naw, I've just been lazy. Hahaha.

  • @ZaKaTaKofSteel its a bitch with any tremlo man, but if u do it right when u restring u wont have to do it for a while. look up some videos on restringing the edge lll tremlo system. takes forever but theirs tricks that make tuning much more cooperative. i had the same problem with my xiphos.

  • @juneausucks did you find the Xiphos's D Activators too treblish ? are they good for death metal ?

  • @punkdude1994 man i never had emg pickups or anything top of the line. but i really do like the d activators they are GREAT for metal. no they arent to high tone either. they provide enough high end for the rythum riffage and enough low tone for fast lead. just the xiphos is kinda high maintinence for me. i wouldnt buy the double locking if i could go back in time. i would get the cheaper ibanez with the same pickups. but dont get me wrong the divebombs are alot of fun. "EEEEEEEeeerrrrrrrrrrrr"

  • @juneausucks looool love your comment :P specially the dive bomb part hahaha :P thanks for replying am thinking real hard on getting this guitar when i save up some cash

  • @punkdude1994 lol no prob man. it feels so fuckin metal when you play it first time. the heel is nice and thin by the way. word to the wize- dont leave it in any humid condition EVER even in the hard case. i left mine in case in my dry dehumidified basement for about a week and ALL the chrome finish was destroyed. go with black hardware if at all possible. dont let the hot looks suck you in though play it for a while and strap up befor u decide cuz the neck slopes down as you play standing.

  • @juneausucks the most important thing is that the sound isnt treblish and thin , i like a more heavy sounding guitar :P

  • @juneausucks You just described all the problems I've been having with mine. I absolutely love this guitar and it's all I wanted for awhile. But I'm a skinny guy so I'm having a major problem the how "top-heavy" it is.

  • @ZaKaTaKofSteel You should go into a shop and have them restring it for you and while they do it ask if you can watch how it's done. It's not the easiest of tasks to restring a edge III or floyd rose trem. Then you won't be afraid to touch it no more. I promise.

  • @kickerpunter its called a reverse headstock

  • OMG IT'S KIRK HAMMETT.

  • @AlphaWinky hahaha he does look like him actually

  • @ThrashManiac17 I know, right?

  • is that a xpt707fx i know what it says butit looks like it has 7 strings

  • I wish brah, its still only a sixer...=(

  • ok because i have the 7 string nice playing to.

  • ya I want a 7string too.. Think Im gonna pick one up thia weekend

  • i heard its harder to do pinch harmonics on the higher-pitched strings... i have no problem doing 12th fret harmonics on high E and B, but i cant do those ones on the lower strings, about the 2nd fret. the same ones zakk wylde always uses.... what am i doing wrong??

  • Natural harmonics ring without effort, unless you've got a particularly fantastic pickup setting and guitar, you'll have to pinch those harmonics.

  • Absolutely......and on the question of the 2nd fret harmonic: You may need an active-pickup for that one, that is, if youre trying to hit a harmonic-spot inside the 2nd fret.

I usually just hit the one inside the 3rd, but closer to the fret-bar of the 2nd. (If that makes sense, hmm?)

  • @ZaKaTaKofSteel sure does

  • kirk hammett? lmao

  • Yes yes....hahaha, I look like Kirk. I know... XD

  • How much does dat guitar cost ya..?

  • Well, that one there was $699 from Musicians Friend. Depending on what model ya get, it could get a lil more pricier..

  • musicians friend has the best price ive seen it from 699-900 lol

  • did u get the 09 xiphos?

  • Na, not yet brah.....I need a new Ibanez though, possibly another XPT or even one of the RG's..
