are you joking? there is no way that it is better. yes I understand the whole "oohh shadows!" thing, but it is not for practical use. the torches barely give off any light, the buggy-ness in caves is outrageous, and I personally don't think that it is all that great in the current state that it is in. I think that it should be for like maybe if you're making a little film or something but other than that I don't see anything that would make it "better".

Break the block below the one spawning cobblestone

Place new blocks around the area the water is spreading. Now the cobblestone will fall in the current and be driven towards the current's end.
