i have no read any of his book. does it list every drink and how it might of changes from last time or do you have to buy all his editions for that. I giggle just thinking of him because his statements are just so over the top. What does he think of vintage Dickel and Dickel today. I must now. what edition do i buy. if im buying 80s bottle would logic mean i buy an old jim murry bible.
@DavidUKesb I love Lagavulin 16. Lagavulin 16 and Ardbeg 10 are constantly switching as my go to dram. But Uigeadal is honestly the head and shoulders above both in my opinion.

But for those who like the peat, smoke, and intense flavors, Uigeadail is it for me. Especially since both are $80 a bottle, I'll take the "Oogy." But Lag 16 is REALLY good, just not as intense as what I'd pay for.

The hell with jim murray. Why is his way the only way? He has poorly rated some of the best whiskies as bad and bad ones as good. Example: he gave a better rating for Old Grand Dad over Wild Turkey 101 in HIS bible. Old Grand dad is shit. I had to spit it out cause it gaged me. WT 101 is so powerful full of bourbon flavor. Jim Murray this Jim Murray that. Big deal. Judge your own whisky. Doesn't have to be complex or to simple just a good experience. How is the experience not the notes.

Not bad, but vastly overrated. Nowhere near as good as Lagavulin 16 which is in a completely different class. Not really even as good as Ardbeg 10

Uigedal is too ashy for me, the Talisker Distillers Edition is much better or e.g. Caol Ila Moscatel Finish. As for Ardbegs try the Rollercoaster!!!

the Uigeadail is one of the best whisky´s i´ve ever tasted and owned. But, Caol Ila - the 13th is also very good.
