This is why I will always prefer 2D sprites to 3D models. You can tell so much from just one picture and it looks like he's ready for a showdown (or at least jokes) and this music just further enforces that idea.

You're going through the new dungeons, and while it's nice to sort of fight the classic foes you're really fighting new FF1 monsters that are only using their sprites of the old games; in other words, they're the monsters in name only. By the time you get to this dungeon you might have figured it will be FF5.

there is no door. you go to the bottom left corner of the area to a narrow passage that looks a little like a cave. keep moving through there and you find a sword. try to take it and gilgamesh comes out of nowhere and fights you. the "door" is the door to the next area. there's also an exit.
