  • @ jamesthuderful your a legend!!

  • Just like every great champion, he was extraordinarly fast, but he had a wonderfull car too... ! The MP4-4 is a legend, thanks to his talent to find the perfect set up, obviously

  • The guy wasn't from this planet. WTF? Senna the best ever, no question about it.

  • quel giro è fisso nella testa di qualsiasi appassionato

  • Legend of a driver ... still be the best of all time and always will be

  • If he hadn't of sadly died Schumacer wouldn't have won half his 7 championships! I feel insulted when people go on about Schumacher being the best ever when really SENNA WAS!

  • @TheGentlemansYear even Schumacher said that he thinks Senna is the all time best driver, his number one.

  • If he didn't died you could have seen an epic battle between him and Schumacher. Such a shame, he is the best driver who ever existed.

    R.I.P.

  • de prost? fuck off Ross cunt

  • Thumbs up for JONATHAN ROSS commentary!!!!!!

  • mmm. Williams were the best car. The fastest. Benetton were good too. How the hell a McLaren can overtake those cars? McLaren - Powered By Senna

  • did you know in this race Senna was driving with slicks...thats what makes this video clip much better and just shows Senna's utter quality

  • is that johnathon ross commentating?

  • Remember that race and that season generally. Everyone wanted the Williams no.1 seat after mediocre Mansell won a title with them in '92 showed anyone could win in that car. But the mods for '93 messed up stability and Senna's natural ability made him competitive even in an inferior car. His most impressive season I thought. He got the seat in '94 and ironically he died in it.

  • who has won the race?

  • Cwucial accessowy, dwamatically demonstwated, on the wun down to Wedgate, wight up onto Pwost's tail, thwough the S-bend, Senna thwust thwough, bone dwy, dwivers complained of poor gwip.

  • simply the best

  • well mark webber went from 16 to 3 this year inm aussie go mark webber

  • Jonathan woss ?!?

  • Schumaher only won all those championships because of the small competition, senna won 3 against Prost, Mansell, Hakinnen, Piquet and more. Being the best of the world when they were so many awesome drivers was alot harder than being the best when there was just one or two people to compete with

  • @mtv218 Reliability was a major factor in Schumacher's success as well. Between mid 2001 and mid 2003 he had zero mechanical failures.

  • @mtv218 schumacher won the championship in 1994 and '95 too......against those good drivers hakkinen, mansell, hill, berger and more.........hakinnen was also driving in 2000 and i guess in '01 also. so dont tell us he only won because of small competition.....

  • @Schrecklassnach38 Mansell in his later years when he was failing, 95 only competition was Hill in the partially patched together "airplane without wings". So yea whoever said that, has the right to.

  • @Schrecklassnach38 The thing is, Schumacher might have been in the best car when he won with Benetton in 94 and 95 and with Ferrari in 2000-2004, but it takes a truely masterfull driver to get the best out of the car.

if you have any doubts, just look at the 2002 season. In 16 races, the LOWEST Michael scored that year was a 3 place in Malaysia. If you recall, Audi does the same thing right now, winning Le Mans 9 times in 11 tries, and also helping Tom Kristensen to win the race 6 of 8 times!

  • @skynet091287 but ferrari wasn't that good before schumacher came. he helped to find the perfect setup, so that he was that good in 2002.

i don't get your position...are u for or against me?

  • @Schrecklassnach38 Do i have to be with or against you?! If i have to chose, im with you, because as you said, Schumacher made Ferrari a team able to win so many championship. He had the same ability as Lauda when he drove for Ferrari, they had the ability to give amazing feedback to the designers and engineers. He did have a little help in the brilliance of Ross Brawn.

Ferrari, Ross Brawn and Schumacher was an absolute dream team!

  • @skynet091287 i totally agree =D

  • @skynet091287

dream team sure, with unlimited financial power and testing facilties. All modern drivers can give feedback, there is nothing special about it, it is about how you drive the car that counts. I keep hearing stupid cliches like this one you just said, and the one about Jenson Button saving his tyres etc, that is because Jenson Button is not as good as Hamilton. My point here is that Senna was superb at analising cars and discussing things with the team, schumacher did nothing new

  • @skynet091287 there is nothing amazing about the 2002 season when you realise the Ferrari car was so far ahead of the opposition, and that Barrichello did not resist him....so please stop making out as though it was a challenge. When a driver is relaxing and knows he has an advantage it is so much easier, espcially if you are the best driver with no competition. Schumahcer is a fraud from an era with very average drivers, only Alonso ws good enough to take him during that period of 2005-2006

  • The best driver in the history of F1. Simple as that.

  • when F1 was F1..............

  • he is overtaking them as in a videogame :)

  • Great driving for a circuit that was supposed to have few to none places for overtaking. He passed 5 and with a rainy weather.

Forever the best driver in F1, IMO.

  • Is it me or is Jonathon ross narating this?? lmao

  • what's the name of this track?

  • @EHFanado donnington park

  • @EHFanado Thanks.

  • Incredible... he was driving against the world's best & he cut through the field like it was just childs play. Nevertheless, in auto racing & especially F1 there are many determining factors... obviously his machine was working very well. But still very impressive any way you look at it. There seemed to be something magical between Senna & a race car

  • not the most successfull, bur just the best, point, over

  • Alain Pwost

  • Senna wasn't the best of all time. Not even in his ere, because there was Prost, and there was Schumacher, who are way better than him!

  • @MrPifta haha thats a good joke

  • @MrPifta This video proves that you're wrong.

  • @MrPifta wow some one needs to stop smoking the ganja

  • @MrPifta Schumacher is an arrogant cheat with no idea of how to be a good sportsman. Even Prost himself said Senna was better than him. You apparently know nothing about F1 or motor-racing. Waddle back to the playground spud and remember to keep striving.

  • @MissEgasMoniz no he isnt i think its u who dont about f1 ? he used to be but isnt any more.

  • @anoneim ?? That makes no sense - Schumacher is a dirty cheat who is now just making a twat of himself - Rosberg will eat him alive this season.

  • @MissEgasMoniz ye it makes perfect sense ? he was an arrogant cheat but in the old days. bu he aint today and havent ben it the last 5-8 years ? so calling him a cheat if that makes u feel better then do that.

  • @MrPifta He was easily better than schumacher, and if he was still alive, Schumacher wouldn't have won all those championships dumbass!!

  • When i read that title senna over takes 5 cars I was like holyshit?

  • pwost! lol

  • NO WAY! is that JONATHON WOSS!?

what the hell, who made him murry walker?! >_>

  • one word says everything about F1.... Senna

  • Apparently, as Williams (And prost) were sponsored by Sega. (And had Sonic the hedgehog on the side of the chassis) Senna had a picture of a flattened hegehog on his nosecone...

    I read a book okay!

  • Incredible! Definitely Senna is the best!

  • Jonhathan ross :P

  • damn! senna = racing god

  • Senna was the best of his time.

    Maybe some better drivers now?

Dont give me thumbs down. its just cos the championships more closely fought now so you dont see this kind of overtaking

  • @FISHURMOMBALL i don`t give you a thumb down, cause your question is worth to be answered. it`s closer competition now, right. a couple of factors: tecn. is much or less the same (think about engine, in 93 Sennas engine was 100 hp (sic!) less powerful than Renault V10., some teams did more advanced tecnology (like active suspensions) than others - today the field is much compacter). a recovery from the tail of the field today even in a top car is difficult. but does this speech against Senna?

  • @FISHURMOMBALL

No better drivers now. Senna and Villeneuve were the best drivers ever. I don't know if I could decide between the 2...It's unfair to match, Senna had more success, but Villeneuve had a shorter career and worse cars (old Ferrari's were basically racing a muscle car against a BMW), but both were amazing.

  • Best Driver EVER

  • Senna was definatly the wet weather specialist.. by far..

  • Senna, the greatest and fastest driver of all times!!

I've watched formula 1 for years and years, and I've never seen such a great driver..

    R.I.P Ayrton, we miss you

  • that was the first grand prix I attended and he was class.

  • KIng of the RAIN!

    MEu HEroi!

    My Hero!

  • lmao it's Jonathan "Woss"! no disrespect to Senna though

  • @akamikeg Whoohooo Wossy all the way

  • True master of the rain.

  • Yes Senna was a great driver, He never really had to worry about Alain as he was not one to really do any aggressive driving, As for Hamilton, well he is nothing like being close to Senna's caliber.

  • jonathan woss??

  • Hamilton too k8 cars in one lap in Malaysia. How come he is also talked about in hushed tones?

  • And THIS is why Senna will ALWAYS be the BEST!!

Ever seen ANY driver pull this in the first lap in those conditions with those top drivers in top cars??

  • well thats in start of the race and in light rain its lot more easy to overtake drivers but... its not easy to overtake 2 william and its not easy to drive in rain at all

  • Is that Jonathon Ross commentating? I didn't know he ever did this. Where's Murray Walker?

  • @sparkygl0s I think Jonathan Ross did the voiceover on the end of season review video/dvd, this clip must have been taken from that. I mean could they have picked anyone worse to do it?, you spent the whole time listening to him talking about Pwost, Fewwawi, McLawen etc etc :p

  • senna is fucking awesome

  • 4 cars, actually. :P

  • wtf jonathon ross lol - old skool he was even worse at his "r"s back in the day

  • ON THE WUN DOWN TO WEDGATE!

    LOL

  • LOL, that did make me laugh.

  • ....όταν έβρεχε ήξερα τον νικητή....!!!!

  • @L7johnny Very true, Senna was the best in the rain hands down.

  • Ayrton...

    Deus das pistas...Deus da chuva.

    Para sempre em nossos corações.

    Senna VIVE.

  • It shows the quality of senna.

He was and he is still, the best and fastest driver of all times!!

    R.I.P

  • @gothickiller47

    Era il più veloce.

  • @gothickiller47 Senna also had a unique ability relative to the cars. It wasn't so much that he was significantly more talented at picking apexes and setting up cars etc, more that he drove in an unorthodox way to everyone else, especially with taking advantage of things like active suspension. The closest we'll get to such genius within the current crop is with Kobayashi... we'll never see the same speed, talent and ability, but from an unorthodox and entertainment factor, we can still hope.

  • is this jonathan ross doing the voice?

  • Comment removed

  • Yes it is J. Ross.

  • Best Lap in F1 ever!!

  • driving to perfection...

  • en kimi raikkonen fantastic win in suzuka 2005

    everyone remember that I thing

    form 17th to 1st also

  • and Barrichello overtook 17 cars when he won her first race in GP of Germany in 2000 !!!

From place 18th. to first, sorry schumi fans ...

  • Except he didn't do it in one lap did he...

  • the drivers were more equal...cars became more equal . Better competition , you can love senna how much you want. But its so cheap and easy to call him better than Schumacher just because Ayrton died has his best "glory days"

  • I never said anything about Senna. And to the contrary, "better competition" doesn't quite pan out too well. Besides Schumacher the only real respectable driver over the majority of his career was Mika Hakkinen. Senna, Prost, Mansell, and Piquet all raced together.

  • Sounds like Jonathan Ross commentating!

  • bcos it is him lol

  • Of course that mclaren had Traction controls and Schumacher had not any traction controls.

And in the full version of this video we can see even how an absolutely not good driver in rain as Michael Andretti, here, in his first race in rain (evenmore, in USA they not race in rain!) is even overtaking... Michael Schumacher !!!

(seconds after that Andretti goes out to give credit my words that he was not good...)

But nevertheless, he overtaked!... of course because his special aids

  • exactly! you remember well my friend.

that illegal tyrrel that was much much inferior than Senna´s Toleman. That Tyrrell, being illegal was nevertheless one of the worst cars of 1984.

and with that tyrrell Bellof was faster than Senna in the rain !

  • Not only was the 1984 Tyrrell illegal, it was also a normally aspirated engined car therefore alot smoother and easier to handle in wet conditions compared to turbo engined cars. That was Bellof's advantage.

  • The Tyrrell was also far from being one of the worst cars on the 84 grid. It regularly ran in the top ten and had three top six ie points finishes prior to the Monaco race. A better return than Senna's Toleman.

  • that mclaren in particular had manual gears and no traction control...

  • Traction Control

  • 1993

  • What season was this?

  • hunt2727 you are crazy!

  • Never heard Jonathan Ross commentating on F1 before - it is definitely his voice - did he do it as a voice over after the race?

  • yes

  • I don't believe in god but I believe in Senna.

  • yes, senna was an expemption, and i worship him

    but senna wasnt immortal

and he was only human as me or you

  • Thats what heppens when you play with bots

  • this is absolutely Donington! :D

  • senna scared me, he was too fast :'(

  • senna and bellof were the rainmasters not schumi. But they died :(

  • You mean that illegal Tyrrell which was disqualified from the whole 1984 results.

  • electronic aids? they didi't even have tc back then

  • Comment removed

  • Senna didn't just know how to drive in the wet. He was a master of setting his car up for it. That plus his skill made him unbeatable. Well he was beat by schumi's robot driving. *cough*

  • fantastic, words r not enough!

  • what the hell

  • This is way they called him Magic Senna.

  • Sheer perfection

  • one of the all time greatest

    RIP Ayrton

  • Senna passed Hill on top of the hill.

  • @Temezkin47 haha

  • The prize for winning this race was a golden Sonic....

    Sega had a nice idea!

  • seriously!? thats fucking sweet. those WERE the sonic days i guess.

  • 2 Drivers that had this rly grazy driving style i can remember. Senna and Older Rosberg.

  • its at donington =D

  • Barneveld says this is fastest car in history ahahahahahahahahahahha...That man dont know nothing... Mclaren Ford was inferior that year and Williams were best car 1991,1992,1993... Barneveld is Senna hater look at his style on channel this guy hates Senna and idolised Schumacher ....Only a complete fool can say that Mclaren from1993 was the best car ever ... looooooooooooool

  • Well can you provide some lap times? that would be very interesting

  • this dam fastest Mclaren car.. the fastest F1 car ever in history!

  • Fastest? Wouldn't say so. 1988's McLaren probably fastest McLaren ever.

  • I agree with Temezkin. McLaren MP4/8 wasn't actually a very fast car with Ford V8 engine, but Senna did an amzing job with it in this race.

  • AHAHAHHHAHAHAHAhahAHAAHaHahah Mclaren from 1993 is the best car in history agaahaaahahhahahahahah you really dont know shit about F1 so you better look WNBA instead aaaaaahahaahaha

  • hey child! read my latest comment of this vid: v=xoG4EnVki9I

(youtube doesnt allow to copy and paste the same comment here to you lool). And not forget, Schumi and I always won! :-) bye bye

  • Did is Donington 1993 ans Senna has win the Race

  • brazillians always pwn :p

  • Did Senna win the race?

  • um... He didnt retire, He died.

  • The best F1racer! agaisnt all, when still is a winner!

  • senna a master on the rain

  • Possibly his best lap, such an amazing driver. Him and Schumacher are very similar but I would have to place Senna above Schumacher as the greatest ever because of the way in which he won

  • fuck schu..senna ftw

  • The best ever!!!

  • there's no point arguing, Ayrton is the best driver to ever race in Formula One.

  • Will Donington be like this next year? Or is the track being completely redesigned.

That is, if there is a British GP next year.

  • I think It will be same like this next year. I don´t know which track is better ... Silverstone or Donnington ... but I will enjoy the last race in Silverstone in two weeks :)

    (Sorry for my english)

  • corr he is something else isnt he

  • amazing overtaking!!

  • Is this Wossy?

  • yup

  • il più grande di tutti i tempi, questa gara rimarrà nella storia cpme un dei più grandi capolavori della formula 1.

    GRANDISSIMO AYRTON.

  • Senna Eterno.

    Great video thanks.

  • What gp was that?

  • France - Magny Cours or Canada - Montreal.

Not sure which one because the hairpins in both Grand Prixs are so very similar but I think it's France

  • Yes...it's in Franch GP! BUt I prefere Villeneuve....

  • This is the European GP of 1993, at Donnington, UK.... I remember... I was there...

  • 0:15

then he picked off wenglinger's sauber to take 3rd place on the outside as they plunged down the cratered kerbs (camera shows stunning overtake)

and there is andretti picking up wendlinger more decisivey (camera shows andretti punting wendlinger and himself off track)

    Top commentary

  • Well Done!
