I have been, I have even used an ammo trick, if you discard your handgun at the beginning of the stage, youll get more ammo depending on what weapon u have.

I'm getting my ass kicked in RE5 in Mercenaries, and it's mostly designed in favor of two people and it's about the same difficulty for the one person attempt. Also the professional difficulty is ridiculous, everything is a one hit kill.
