  • Wow. Ground beef for 0.79/lb. Those were the days.

  • They had music problems on this show!

  • Diane looks like Martin Short...

  • @desipher LOL... Ed Grimley...

  • @gameshowluvr86

Pat Sajak is sooooo decent *plays triangle*

  • Gotta see Club Life!!!

  • look at those glamorous yard sale steals

  • Chocolate Fudge Sofa huh? Wow.

  • Chocolate Fudge Sofa? oh, god, no wonder the player on a 1980 uddered "I DON'T WANT ANY OF THIS CRUD".

  • Chocolate Fudge Soda??? eww...

  • @tbone24100 Heck, it could have been tasty, you never know... lol. ;-)

  • I was hoping that the contestant who solved the puzzle could buy that lawn mower.

  • Answer to first puzzle: PRIMA DONNA.

  • Is it true that there were 195 episodes each season both of the daytime and syndicated versions, for all the periods the daytime and syndicated versions co-existed (from 1983 to 1991)? That would mean 390 episodes combined.

  • that round 1 wheel needs so colors on it...too much yellow

  • Shopping was ok, But Not for me.

  • What's wrong with theme weeks? I believe there have been things like Christmas Weeks, College Weeks, and Teen Weeks all throughout Wheel's history.

  • @wisp2007 There's nothing wrong with theme weeks, but making EVERY week a theme week is overkill. And it's been that way since fall 1996.

  • How many gift certificates does a person need, lol? I'd have taken the trip to Japan.

  • I'm with Jimmy. I did not like Dick's gameplay at all! The only thing that interested me was the first shopping round, and that was it. I honestly wish I had been a contestant during the "shopping" years, because I would have taken everything on the turntable, lol!

  • @gsnman What I liked about "Wheel" from the "shopping" years, was that you could technically buy a bonus prize if you had the money to do so... Like, if you won $20,000, you would have enough to buy TWO new cars and some other goodies, and then play for a... trip some where nice in the Bonus Round. Awesome, right?! :-)

  • great vid, bud! i nearly was about to ask what year this was, but all i have to do is look at the title lol. Thanks for the vids!

  • tHIS IS around the time Vanna lost her first husband.

  • @tpir1972 Actually, Vanna lost her husband-to-be two months later, in May.

  • @gameshowluvr86 Was that John Gibson ("The Young and the Restless")?

  • Thanks! Loved the vid!

  • their stupidity was depressing and the fact that he turned down a trip to japan for a gucci gift certificate even more so.

    the commercials were great.

  • @jimmysudar Dick was an AMAZING player, don't get me wrong... but, a tad too conservative at times (i.e. taking the Gucci gift gertificate in lieu of the trip to Japan...)

  • @masonben2011 I don't upload shows to YouTube anymore because of the copyright incident. Check out RuTube.ru and just search for Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. I upload a lot there.

  • This is from season three as the colors on the wheel and a few amounts on it changed on the daytime version in August 1986, and those changes carried over to the syndicated version starting with the season four premiere.

  • @zachhoran Yep, yep... the Wheel's color change didn't take place until like... two and a half months before I was born. :-)

  • Ah, yes, this ep. is a great one. I had this up earlier but removed it because of the whole Sony thing even though I don't think it would've been a problem if I didn't. Don't know what I was thinking when I removed it... thank you very much.

  • This 1st round is quite a doozy here!

  • Thanks Josh, for posting a new Season 3 WOF episode. Now, this episode was aired in March 1986 if I get this right. Now, this WOF episode may be safe from being deleted from Youtube, previously, Sony was after every WOF episode putting up here, but now that has calmed down, this should be safe from being removed here, so your fall 1984 WOF episode you uploaded should be back here real soon.

  • "The prices of the prizes were to the contestants prior to the show, and have been rounded off to the nearest dollar. Gift certificates do not include sales tax."

"Wheel of Fortune is a production of Merv Griffin Enterprises, distributed by King World."

  • Dang network voiceover... do I have to do everything??

"The prices of the prizes were furnished to the contestants prior to the show and are rounded off to the nearest dollar. Gift certificates do not include sales tax.

"This is Jack Clark speaking. Wheel of Fortune is a production of Merv Griffin Enterprises and is distributed by King World."

Thanks for this. I've missed seeing classic Wheel on the Yootoobz since Sony started being a *ugly word* about it being here. I hope this stays up.
