@SEMGameZone You cannot just use any LAN tunneling program because some are not compatible with the ps2. There are only a few that I know of that work with ps2. Xlink Kai is the one that the majority of people use to tunnel ps2 games.

@Persegan Yes there is. You just have to have Ratchet Deadlocked (or Gladiator if your in Europe) and then scan the memory card to unlock him. You can do the same thing with Jak and Daxtar, Jak 2 and Jak 3.

I love this game so much, yeah I have xbox 360 ps2 gamecube, psp, I'm mostly on the Xbox 360, but i still play this game here and there, sometimes with my brother, it kicks ass so badly. Sometimes we customize so that we mostly get the deadlier weapons only, and it's a hell of alot of fun.

@Ace7345 You still can play this game online. The game's servers are dead, but since the game has a LAN mode you can use LAN tunneling programs to play this game online still. The fat original ps2 version does not have a network adapter built in. You have to buy one and attach it to it.

very nice job. this is the vehicle im race best in, and the seaport strip is the ideal place to drift the turns. that usually helps with time, and gets you ahead faster. idk if the controls are different online or not, so no help there. other than that, great job!

@95jakjakjak The games online servers have been down for awhile. So, the only way to play this online now is by using LAN tunneling programs like Xlink Kai. It is a free program that you run on your PC that lets you play ps2 games (ones that have LAN modes) online, even after a game's online servers are taken down. @95jakjakjak I just explained it. The real online servers for that game were taken down. It is offline. However, you can still play the game online by doing something called LAN tunneling. If a game has a LAN mode (Jak x does) you can run a program on your PC called Xlink Kai and it will let you play the game online with other people still. That is how I was playing with other people online through this video.

It must have been dissapointing finding out that all your hard work on online is gone. I got this game recently and thought it would have online. Can you please explain to me why Xlink isn't working right? It says ? people on every game when it should show the number of people

@XRvd15X What do you mean my hard work online is gone? You need version 7.3.1.7 of Xlink to play PS2 games over xlink, the newer ones do not work. The ? mark problem for player counts is something that happens with Xlink's servers. It is annoying, but it does not affect you playing games online with Xlink Kai at all.

@XRvd15X I dont know why it wouldnt work on your laptop. I use it on windows xp, but other people have got it to work on both vista and windows 7. If you are using those operating systems make sure you are set to the admin of the computer when you setup and use xlink. Also, you may have to use xlink in windows xp compatability mode or whatever its called if you are using vista or windows 7.
