It can go either way. I can see them putting it in, thus creating massive surplus of console gameplays of Battlefield. Also, I can see them not putting it in because the consoles can't handle it. Same goes for some PCs.

I thing that a spactater mode is possibel and a spactater mode is important im playing compedetiv and we got some cheaters in the esl and it is hard to detect them without a spactater mode. A full battlerecorder is not possible in my opinion i think it will be more an demo recorder like in quake wer only you are recorded,

And people keep saying shit about PS4. There isn't going to be a PS4. Sony is more likely to announce bankruptcy then announce a next gen console. Doesn't anyone remember the IGN post that said Sony is dropping out of the console race and isn't going to make another console.

Aint no damn xbox gonna be upgradable. If it was there could be no guarantee that all the games would play on all the versions of xbox not to mention that they wouldn't want you inside of your xbox to begin with. When the PS4 and Xbox 720 come out they will be hundreds. The PS3 was like $600-700 when it first came out. My gaming PC was $850-_- The PS4 or 720 will more thank likely be more,and like you said the tech will be 2-3years old at launch.

Spectator mode will come out for PC if it's even releasing. Private matches for consoles won't happen, that's for sure.

I dont think the 360 could handle a bat. rec. but it could definitely handle a spectator mode and private matches. The 720 on the other hand could probably handle both and all of BF3 on one disc as well.

If the 720 is built like a PC and they allow us to upgrade it if we so chose and it costs the same as a normal console would at first, that would be perfect. Each game could be like Battlefield 4 (Vanilla 720 or v720) or Battlefield 4 (v +) if its upgraded to handle new games like a PC.

Even if a graphic card is a year or 2 years old it will still be a better graphical engine than consoles. pcs have always been more competative when it comes to gaming.

Having a spectator mode is a great idea. On the PC, I think they will include it. On consoles, it might be harder, but I think it will help many shoutcasters like yourself. BF3 needs more publicity, and having easier access to "showing off," will grant everyday players to share their experiences.

Still need private servers. I really want to play competitive on BF3, but it would simply be impossible without the private server feature.

@MrAndoProductions Yeah i'm more for the private servers on console than spectator mode. I'm pretty average in a chopper and haven't done much flying time in the jets because once i'm shot down i go back to capping flags.

This would be a great place to practice with friends without effecting your team.

not to start a flame war, but i think that consoles and pc's are EVEN in price.

whenever a new console gets released its atleast 500 bucks.

add another 300-500 for the pc you curently have and you get a beast that can kill every game on high settings and you still get cheaper games/no fees.

I'm pretty sure spectator mode will come out on all 3 platforms sometime, but battlerecorder is pretty unlikely on consoles because recording all actions of all players in a 20 min game, would create such huge log files, some Xboxes would run out of hard drive space after 2 hours of gameplay.
