Great video, very enjoyable, I remeber the QE2 being launched from John Browns and enjoyed her visits to Fremantle. I feel if the QE2 had to be decommissioned, she should have remained in Britain. Once again Britain sells her Maritime Heritage, to the highest bidder. If a situation was to arise and she went back to Britain and was needing volunteers to refit and restore her. I would go willingly.

Thanks very much for the update, well,well having to be sold again, that is interesting to hear, Dubai, must be worse off than what is portrayed in the media.

In an ironic way, that is great, because, there was reports that her engines were going to be removed and the engine space converted to something else. The curent funnel was being removed and was to be replaced by a glass structure. There is one way she could be bought, that is a very large public float literally, crazy???

i think the decomissioniong of QE2 was wrong, because she was the last British liner in the Cunard fleet. she should have either kept sailing or at least kept in Britain to become a hotel

it was something to do with the contract sale, cunard had to be reomved because she isnt owned by them anymore, also southhampton has been removed from her stern :(
