Ive been smoking since i was 15, never off of peer pressure, but of curiousity, it mellows me out, i do it recreationally, pop a movie in at home and just chill, never had the quote on quote " have any eposides thoughts of doin anything crazy, psychodelic shit happening, it just mellows me out, LEGALIZE IT, end of problem, save the state money to fix our education and cities, but of course they dont wanna do that! its quite a dilemma because some people are afraid if they step up and show they support it, they may lose their jobs or be arrested. its disappointing that thats the way it is but i hope at some point we will all step up and do our part to push the issue to legalize and decriminalize.

I think it's an effort on the part of Russia to have more influence throughout the world. Many countries do this. TVE, from spain, bbc from britain, al jazeera (in english) from the arab world, TV5 from france, there's also a german one (also in english) that i don't remember the name of, and probably others. The US has a lot of influence because the whole world watches american tv, so other countries want to have their own television be viewed internationally as well.

I think that you are probably right. I'm more aware of the international radio broadcasts that gov'ts have. To me, "Russian TV" means TV broadcasted within Russia.

I would love to see all the drug reform groups (MMP, DPA, Norml, MAPS, etc.) join forces on this issue. You couldn't ask for a better time to push for change on marijuana policy.

That will be stronger push for the legalization we should make that happen for the one goal to make weed legal we should request these groups online to join together.

I think one of the main reasons more people do not give their time or money to these groups is because they feel powerless and that their effort and resources would be wasted. If people thought there was a real chance of change then that small flame under their ass would turn into a bonfire.

But one of these groups (or someone from one of them) will have to take the lead and speak for all the groups. IMO, LEAP should do this because the "stoner" label will not stick to them very easily.
