  • This song is not by Enya:( (she doesn't play the fiddle.) This song is done by The Celtic Fiddle Festival. It can be found on their first CD ( I think) self titled. I had to go to green linnet records to find it. The real version is 6:10 long

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I downloaded this song as an Enya mislabel and I've been searching everywhere for the true artist (any true Enya fan knows she doesn't play the fiddle and this song doesn't match her style.) Thanks!

  • since i was young i liked this type of music i dont know why =)

  • comment traduire "fiddle" en français?

  • violon :)

  • fiddle = violon

  • for an angel irish....

    valentina giovagnini

  • lol. there is a HUGE difference between the violin and the fiddle. a very big difference.

  • the only actual difference between a "fiddle" and a "violin" would have been the strings once upon a time, not so much anymore, its the same instrument

  • Shoji Tabuchi said the difference between the fiddle and violin is "in how you fiddle around with it."

  • No but there is a spork for me to poke you with.

  • There is a difference between the fiddle and the violin. It's all in the way the instrument is played. I happen to enjoy the sound of the fiddle better. This is not to say that the violin is not as good, it's just my pref.

  • I just like the middle-age effect of the fiddle ^^

  • makes u feel.. good.. like scotland.. idk

  • try ireland!! haha it does make u feel good!

  • Comment removed

  • I can't...

  • violín :D

  • =] fiddle. not violin xD. but yahh it's pretty cool

  • there is no difference.

    a violin is a fiddle...

  • lol. there is a difference ^-^. look it up. They're played differently from eachother.

  • in the south you can find a fiddle but in new york youu will find violin

  • Preciosísima :)

  • Pero que bien suena esta cancion ea

  • what song is this called? not enya, but who is it by? and where can i find this music peice?

  • its by enya

  • Its NOT by Enya!! This is just her face put to someone elses music! Enya CANNOT play the fiddle! And don't you dare tell an Enya fan that is by her when it bloody well isn't!!!

  • ok! shit its not by her then i was just sayin that cuz i thought it was kinda calm down please no reason to get disrespectful especially not on a video of a song such as this

  • I am an Enya fan too and I don't ever recall Enya playing the fiddle, besides this song isn't in her style although its not too bad

  • Yeah, you're right, its not her style but the song's ok tho

  • i think the fiddle is playing the vocals.

  • genial!!!

  • GENIALNE !!!!!

  • This music is from the first Celtic Fiddle Festival CD. The Celtic Fiddle Festival was then Johnny Cunningham, Christian Lemaire and Kevin Burke. The fiddler on this track is Christian Lemaire.

  • genial!!!!!

  • This is NOT Enya's work! She has NEVER played the fiddle AT ALL!! This is just her photo put to someone else's music! Please credit the right artist!!

  • so hardcore D-Metal

  • Enya didn't do this song, she doesn't play the fiddle at all.

  • what proof do you have, sonho1234, that this girl did not perform this song?

  • im learing fiddle playing on my violin right now (H)

  • For some reason this music reminds of my childhood..

  • O_o mmh...in a good or bad way?

  • Good way, I took a trip to scotland when I was really small and for some reason this makes me think of it hardcore.

  • wow *___*

scotland is as awesome as ireland...:>...

    both nice countrys...:>

    ^_^

how old were you when you were there?

too small to remember everything? or do you still know something ...what you did or something else

  • I was like 2 xD I dont remember shit but theres something about listening to this type of music that reminds me of it

  • you're lucky ;_; xD

even if you havn't any memories of your beeing there but...xD ...well...you were there, and that's all that counts xDD

  • Have you considered seeing a shrink?

  • London Chris? Shut up you little british pussy

  • Jay Skullz, you are a sentimental, and I love you! btw I am not British.

  • the UK is Brittish you idiot! the full title of our kingdom is - The United Kingdom of Great BRITTAIN and Northern Ireland. Jeez. You're from the UK and you say you're not Brittish?!

  • He could be from Northern Ireland then, and not be British ;)

  • His profile says he's from the UK though. If he was from Northern Ireland, he could say either UK or Éire

  • great music but wats up with her eyes-they look so fake lol!

  • The music is awesome - but the look of her eyes...

  • Up until 19th century Irish got close to completly dieing due to political, enconomic and cultural reasons in Ireland. British oppression, the emmigration to america and last but not least the great Famine gave the language an immense hit. Alone more than 1/3 of all Irish speakers died or emmigrated during the Great Famine between 1845 and 1851.

  • why in ireland did not surivivd celtic language?

  • a. outdated. b. english occupation. it was outlawed.

  • With this kind of music, I just wanna sit in a pub and have a nice pint of cider

  • Can't wait to go back to Ireland next year! :)

Last time I was 16 and I walked from Galway over Clare, Limerick, Tralee to Dingle in about 3 weeks. I'll be there for 3 weeks again and I want to see even more than last time. Wonderful Country!

  • if you like celtic music check out old blind dogs

  • I love this kind of music, anything with an irish style to it is cool

  • yea i totally aggree xD everything with a bagpipe and violin is awesome xD...

    *___*

  • I love this music

  • amazing...it sounds so...so celtic!!:)

  • There is a much longer version (a bit over 6 minutes, I believe) that is amazing. It starts off at a slow pace, and very carefully and slowly works its way up to the climax. I had to get it from Limewire, but it was worth it.

  • I think I'm Irish:)

  • This is wonderful! I want to play this! What's the songs name and does anyone know where I can find the sheet music for it?

    Thanks!

  • Class)))

  • Great tune! I like it very much.

But for me, just the manner to play it sounds gaelic.

The tune itself sounds really like a "Dañs Plinn" from Brittanny (West of France).

    It's Celtic too, but different.

  • whatever... it's great!

  • This is actually Great Big Sea, a canadian celtic band, not Enya. People post stuff without knowing what the hell it actually is. "Enya" was probably a tag used to include this piece in certain searches, on limewire say. Eithne Patricia Ní Bhraonáin has not done anything this stripped down, since her days with her family's band Clannad, prior to 1982.

  • whats this song called???

  • IRELAND!!!

  • yes.. i hear enya since was a chlid! =D

  • omg i love it

    Enya is the best

    love Ireland <3

    x

  • Uwielbiam Irlandzką muzykę! Ale czy to na pewno Enya? Z resztą, nieważne, podoba mi się! (Jak większość takich utworów:D)

  • makes me want to dance :D

  • lovely

  • Love it.

  • I liek this piece

  • oooo! violin!!

  • Ehm... How is it connected with Enya?? The only think I see there in common is that this is Irish music, too... But it´s wonderful ;o)

  • Yes excellent point, ppl go to the trouble of doing this stuff and get it oh so wrong!

  • Connected? it's about getting hits imo

  • Wish I could play the fiddle like this......

I really feel like dancing energetically to this music...but without the commercialism of Irish Dancing eeukkk....=)

  • Qui!Moi Amour Enya!

    Yes!I Love Enya!

    (Starts tap dancing)

  • Eh Welsh people are Celts!

Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Cornwall, Isle of Man and Brittany are known as the 6 Celtic Nations.

  • Some people count Celtic Galicia (Spain), so there is a wee controversy over whether it's 6 or 7 nations.

  • Ah yea I seem to remember reading that at one point or another. Not sure with regards to its validity but its nice to see sumone with some brains contributing to the convo!

  • Thank you! You are very kind :)

  • beautiful peice.

    5*

  • I Love Enya!!! I love the celtic music!!! the folk music, the irish music, the welsh music, the scotish music!!!
