Israel receives a sizable amount of US MILITARY AID only, used to purchase US-made equipment (e.g. F16 jets), and spends these money in USA, along with Egypt, Colombia (not to mention governments in Iraq and Afganistan which now get by far more military aid then Israel, so 1/3 or 1/2 ratio mentioned is exaggeration).
True, Israel has received a lot of US aid. But it has paid a very high price for doing so. How so? Because, under US pressure, Israel has had to show far more restraint in dealing with its barbaric enemies than it should have done. Far better for Israel if it were to receive much less US aid and thus be able to stop fighting with one hand tied behind its back.

This video is misleading: US Foreign Development Aid is way more than $20b per year, and Israel is currently NOT part of this program at all. Israel receives a sizable amount of US MILITARY AID only, used to purchase US-made equipment (e.g. F16 jets), and spends these money in USA, along with Egypt, Colombia (not to mention governments in Iraq and Afganistan which now get by far more military aid then Israel, so 1/3 or 1/2 ratio mentioned is exaggeration).

True, Israel has received a lot of US aid. But it has paid a very high price for doing so. How so? Because, under US pressure, Israel has had to show far more restraint in dealing with its barbaric enemies than it should have done. Far better for Israel if it were to receive much less US aid and thus be able to stop fighting with one hand tied behind its back.

I cannot purchase some lands from some people, and then form my own military, government, and system. They can buy lands, but not form an entirely new state. Arabs losing any war means nothing, since Israel was backed up with the world's most powerful states with the most developed technologies. How could you compare them? Numbers don't count; it is technology. Arabs won in 1973 but because US intervened, power has shifted to the other side. This is not a balanced combat and unfair.

Learn some history please and some law as well. There is difference between personal ownership (I can buy any land) and occupation. The latter brings with it new government, establishing different state with new military and new system, constitution, and courts -- and everything. They have systematically uprooted Palestinians and all these years have washed them out of land by force. Genocide, terror, forced migration, foreign migration to change the population.

Pictures are everywhere of women and children that were victims of these atrocities. Also, how would they commit war crimes while they were in their own lands?! The problem with Israel is that they keep taking land away from Palestinians who lived on the land longer than they did. However, Israel uses their scripture and religion to justify that the land belongs to them.
This isn't right. Religion is just a metaphor that helps people live good lives. It cannot be used as excuses for conflicts, tools for politics, or explanations to the origins of the universe.
