Systematically wiping out bacteria since 1775. The grenade they tossed in before entering was a Cillit Bang. It destroys any dirt crust before the actual cleaning can begin. That's why the procedure went so fast. It's like in the ads, you just remotely touch the surface and it's all shiny.

They're pretty efficient, but I still doubt sending them in the desert was a good idea. Just too much sand, they can never get the area properly cleaned. It'll last forever and a day. Sysiphus work it is.
