@gorgeousaur I don't think this song is sang in that sense... in the serie, she had a lot of responsabilities and troubles being very young (22-23 aprox)... she really need and escape! in the song and in the posibility of IMAGINE another life more free...

@gorgeousaur Well just think about it... she has to take care of 20 or so orphan minors, her small sister Kim, the house expenses, the record company, the starlight fundation, the concerts and public appearances, all this while juggling the Jem/Jerica persona... plus the Misfists who put her and the holograms in danger one to three times per episode, and Raymond who never ends the ploting to take over Starlight Records...

... I think this character has a right to wish for a break!!!

I love that this showed us that it truly was JERRICA'S talent that brought Jem to fame....that Jerrica was the true talen under the hologram! It was a great Jerrica moment...and I loved that pink suit.

I had a hard time understanding where Jerrica was coming from about feeling restrained or tyed down. She had so much going for her. She was the CEO of her own company, a rock star on top of that and had her own mansion.

@Passions55 Like it's been said, she had a ton of responsibility. making sure her group was doing well, that there was money for the orphanage, and that each individual orphan was alright as well. She also had little down time. Her going home was like her going to another job with taking care of the kids, doing paper work in her company, and then doing jam sessions. She handles it all really well.

Jerrica was never my favourite character (mostly because of the @*&# she puts Rio though) but that's easily one of my favourite Jem songs from the show.

I also love Jerrica, ;w; I sufered every time she feelt jealousy over herself, >___> and Hate Rio. It is somehow like Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde oxo now that I think about it XD. This song is lovely sweet
