Accurate Explanation: (Part 1)

David Blaine uses the classic force to force the 8 of Spades. David Blaine also has an assistant behind the glass window of the restaurant, in which he told him/her what card he was going to force the spectator to chose. The spectator got the second 8 of spades from the same exact backed design deck.

While DB is completing the force and procedure, his assistant is watching concealed behind the window waiting for his action. As DB turns and throws the deck, right before it hits the window the assistant sticks the card to the back of the window with magicians wax or double-sided tape, before the spectator could realize what DB did. the assistant then flees from the scene.

Note: at exactly 0:35 - 0:36, you could see the "tape" or "wax" in the middle of the card.
