Make sure that person exudes love for you, not by buying you flowers and stupid stuff like that. When they don't know you're looking, does he/she still show it? Don't go after looks, money, education, status. Don't show off to another either. You don't want people to fall in love with you for the wrong reasons.

If you think about it, usually those guys have had their heart broken by some girl, over and over again. So it kind of makes sense why some of them are just plain mean to their girlfriends. They don't want to get hurt again, but neither does their new girlfriend. Its all a vicious cycle, and until some of us stand up and stop it, it wont end. it sux
