  • What type of vehicle are you driving in this video? A three wheel motorcycle?

  • @GTVAlfaMan No, it's a human powered Sinner Mango velomobile. See some of my other videos, or search for Sinner Mango in youtube. Actually, there are quite a few videos showing the same machine in the youtube "suggestions"

  • hey cool cam looks to work well!

where are your from originally though you sound remarkably British!?

    cheers

  • You have a very friendly voice, I wish there were an excuse for you to talk in more of your videos. I mean that in the least creepy way possible, you just seem like you're constantly in a good mood, and optimistic and it makes me smile. I guess that's what Dutch living does to you...

  • Great video for such a cheap camera! I am thinking about buying one of these little cameras for mounting on my bike.I was wondering how long it takes to upload a video like this one to youtube though, because it would really impact how much I use the camera. Could you give me a rough estimate of the time it took for this video to upload? Thanks in advance.

  • @Rimboepenguin It depends on the speed of your connection. We have the cheapest & slowest that Ziggo offers, so I often set it going overnight.

  • @DavidHembrow Ok, thank you!

  • Gidday David What do you use to edit your video once you have made it. Great Blog and a great video.

  • @locky63red2007 I use avidemux running under Linux. It's a bit primitive. In this case I just chopped the start and finish off and converted to 640x480 from the slightly stretched 720x480 which comes from the camera. Glad you like the video and blog.

  • Cheers David, I just purchased one of those wee cameras and a 2Gb card. I have to say, I'm developing an adiction to watching your bike-ride videos, and I'm going to make a few of my own when my camera arrives. I think I'm going to try it on the handlebars and also on my head (maybe pointing backwards) :) If I could afford a recumbent, I would have one immediately, they look brilliant. Keep on peddling mate!

  • I get just under 25 minutes from 2 Gb, so I guess you can scale that for larger cards. You'd need several for a 24 hour event, but perhaps if you have pit-stops that might work for you - and it'd still be quite inexpensive.

  • @DavidHembrow - great, thanks Dave. Most of the riders do 45 - 1 hour stints, so we could potentially simply switch them on for the start of a stint and they could go til they run out... hmmm, could be worth a try with an 8GB microSim

  • looks fantastic - how long does the unit record for with a 4GB or / 8GB micro SD?

I'm looking at using one on a vehicle for a 24 hour race...

  • I just ordered 2 of these with a 4 GB microSD card. Total cost € 23.60 including shipping. Now I need a place to stick it to (I guess on top of the 'hump' of my Mango, one facing forward, the other backwards).

  • Nice camera, silly dog :-)

It's so small you can attach it almost anywhere!
