  • Do you just use any water? because the water of the pond seems dirty, so does the water matter besides the temperature of it?

  • @BlackRoseDragon14 The mud ponds are full of rain water. When they get too low they are topped up with well water. The water is clean, just contains algae, etc. The temporary tubs the koi are placed in are, to my knowledge, full of well water. Ray makes sure the temperature in the tubs is as close as possible to the mud pond water temperature. Hopefully that answers your question. Cheers, Clarke

  • @jaggedmoss So, i can use any kind of water then? or can i just use the water from the hose/sink? but i just have to make sure the temperature is right or warm?

  • @BlackRoseDragon14 fresh water is best. if you use water from the sink / hose, you have to remember to treat for chlorine.

  • @jaggedmoss ok, then. Well whenever we buy our fishes, we always use drinking water. because of waiting for the process of cleaning the water.
