Nice pun, but considering that it seemed like Naoto's foretold death appeared to be bull, just for him to die unexpectedly (as opposed to Burai's death being foreseen), Naoto's death seems more gut-wrenching to me.
Man Captain Ryuuga was an evil bastard. Well not really but to willingly let Naoto become TimeFire instead of himself to save his own life? Understandable but still a crummy thing to do. Poetic justice at its finest when he dies anyway.
I always find it funny how we Americans are hyper sensitive to violence in kids shows yet most of those parents probably let there kids watch CSI or R rated movies with them.
This was the best super sentai death scene. I loved how they went back and forth between that captain (who was setting up Naoto's death so he wouldn't die himself) and Naoto rescuing the bird. That fall from the roof had to have been painful. And Tatsuya really showed emotion in reacting to his death.
@NickStoneX I wouldn't go as far as to say that. All Sentai series but Denjiman and Sun Vulcan are each separate universes. Gokaiger is like Kindgom of Hearts of the franchise.
@anti4kids2000 Not really. The Sentai series in its entirety is all one universe. Certainly there are different dimensions but its all in the same timeline. Naoto never comes back to life permanently he does revive to fight Zangyack and to give Gai the Gokai Silver powers but he goes right back to being dead. I don't understand why fans keep saying there are different universes or the movies aren't canon. It's not like the Sentai travel through time/space they just walk next door.
@ampelogardenboy You're welcome. Timeranger had the saddest ending I've seen so far. I haven't watched Power Rangers for years, but the way the four left Tatsuya had so much emotion in it. Not only did Timeranger have a sad ending, but the special credits they have just for the finale was very sad too.
@GreggMays64 That's why Timeranger is the most realistic super sentai series . It shows you that things do not happen like you expect , but you have to keep going . That's the spirit ( my belief )
@Sasukereturns It's not because Japanese kids are more mature, the Japanese have different television standards than we do, steeming from cultural differences.
@ICEGOD2 Ryuya made sure that Time Fire would die in his place, but he still ended up dying from what I remember. The Power Rangers doesn't exactly pass dying, with the small exception of Eric yet he came back to life.
*Spoiler Alert*
Naoto does not hold a candle to compare Burai's.(Horribly Ironic Pun Intended)

Even though it was the same thing, Time Force's finale was 1000X better then this.

@Sasukereturns More mature? That's flawed logic. It's called cultural differences.
By that logic German kids and teens have to be the most immature beings to walk the universe.

Timeranger and Jetman are one of the most saddest Super Sentai as the Final Episodes always leaves people in tears.
08chinup 5 months ago
@08chinup I thought Timeranger had a much more sad ending than Jetman. The final episode credit sequence is the saddest one of them all.

Guys don't worry he comes back later in the series with a team up of all Super Sentai teams so he revives. No need to be sad.

I had seen the 2 last episodes ( to be honest , I had seen the whole season ) and I didn't understand.
Did Naoto die forever or they change the history and Naoto survived , because at the end of the episode 50 , we saw Naoto in a Bird-shop ?
Can someone explain to me ?
ampelogardenboy 9 months ago
@ampelogardenboy
That was a Naoto look-alike. In fact, all of the characters except Tatsuya had look-alikes in the last scene of the episode 50.
Sasukereturns 9 months ago
@Sasukereturns I know that they had a look-alike characters , but in a minute , he says-thinks
... I am working for Naoto now ...
that's why I'm confused
