  • sure! no problem. Thanks for your question. You can find us by doing a search for "Toothy Grins Store" on Google

  • where did u find the oxy stuff? lol :)

  • @lipqueen04 We have it at ToothyGrinsStore - Look for Perio Therapy:

  • @tobeinformed thank u :)

  • thanks this was really helpful i've ordered my hydrofloss just today, i have the same question if my gums start pulling away from your teeth and get rid of the gingavitis will the gums heal back to your teeth? and should i use the hydrofloss on a dayly basic? AND whats the name of the oral rinse, can i buy it in england? :)

  • I have semi-puffy gums, but they don't bleed, should I be worried? Would just flossing, brushing and mouthwash work?

  • if ur gums start pulling away from your teeth and you get rid of the gingavitis will the gums heal back to your teeth?

  • I found it interesting watching THE BEAUTIFUL TRUTH, documentary that Dr. Max Gerson, wrote a book [1940's] based on his research from around the world people living primitive lifestyles eating from the earth never processed food, never a tooth bush or any or very little concept to teeth care, had fabulous beautiful white teeth. Search online the documentary is available for free viewing some where.

  • Also you can try COQ10 and a vitamin C supplements along with brushing and tobeinformed's advise...Im takeing a vitamin C supplement and it is slowing the bleeding down. Vitamin C is essential for healthy gums. Stay away from mouthwash w/alcohol, it dries the mouth which breeds bacteria. peace to u

  • you have to do it every day.... you can't just do it for a while and then stop, it is a daily activity

  • thanks imma get it

  • great vid...will be purchasing..but what do you mean when you said it was too slow.

  • Do you do this in addition to regular brushing or do you perform both?

  • Hi, I use it in addition too. There is no point in giving up regular brushing and flossing. The Hydro Floss just improves the effectiveness of those tools. You should do it all.

  • Forgot to add, I had some cavities (I'm a big lime eater, but not anymore!) the dentist was amazed at how little I bled during the procedure, I wasn't completely happy, but his compliment let me know that the Hydrofloss works.

  • I love my Hydrofloss! The key thing is to use it daily, perhaps even 3 times, the bleeding gum goes away eventually. However I didn't hydrofloss for 3 days and when I brushed my teeth, I had slight traces of blood, I no longer skip. It really makes your mouth feel cleaner, its pricy, but cheaper than dental visits! My dentist recommended it to me.

  • i put mouthwash with water in mine! it worked really good. bleeding was completely eradicated. IM SO HAPPY. and my gums bled bad. ive tried making them bleed by flossing and using it on the hardest setting but they dont bleed any more. YAY.

  • Excellent, congratulations. To keep up the good results - consider the book: What You Should Know about Gum Disease for further prevention and information beyond the Hydro Floss!

  • I'll probably invest in this machine, I just got back from the dentist for some cleaning and it was rather.. pricey. Hopefully this machine will help me cut the costs by reducing the office visits.

  • Do any retail stores sell the hydro floss?

  • I have just started using a waterpik recently and I have to say it is working absolute wonders...though I am not using the one you suggest. This has given far better results than what the dentist has suggested. My question is should I use it after brushing or before? Setting a water pik to the highest setting doesn't neccesarly equate to more cleaning - Pick a setting that you are comfortable with

  • Up to you. I sometimes use mine before AND after.

  • cant you just brush your teeth like 5x a day and use mouthwash if your gums bleed>?

  • Water pics are GREAT for gum health!Seriously, everyone should have one. I had gum disease and needed surgery to replace the lost bone. Once a found out, I got a water pic and used Dr. Katz perio therapy kit (toothpaste and rinse).

Twice a day I would use the water pic, floss, brush and rinse with Dr. Katz. After a couple of weeks, my gingivitis went away. I still need the bone surgery, but once that's all done, i'll be staying on top of taking care of my gums so it never happens again.

  • hey dave do you think

    medicare covers that floss thing?????

my gums bleed and ive done what they tell

    me...

  • You need a deep cleaning. Have to get rid of the calculus (tarter) under the gums. It holds the infection. Which poisons the gums and bone and causes them to eat themselves away. Once clean then the bones and gums will heal and tighten up. Bleeding means infection, ie. tartar/calculus.

  • Well, that's just it - the dentist and hygienist both agreed I didn't need the deep cleaning after using the Hydro Floss.

The best deal on the Hydro Floss to be found is at the oralirrigatordiscount website and the tobeinformed website

  • same here. Personally I think its a scam, or at least half a scam. They told me I have gingivitus, and that my gums were swollen, yet my gums aren't swollen, they don't bleed when I brush, and they don't bleed when I floss.

  • unfortunately, there are some docs out there that are willing to take advantage of 'grey' areas.

  • I doubt that medicare will pay for it, you can try though.

Use the oralirrigatordiscount website to get the best deal on the Hydro Floss - you can also get a digital copy of my book as a bonus when you follow the instructions on that site.

  • I do not think medicaid covers it. You can check, but I'm pretty sure the answer will be "no".

  • HUmm thanks it will make a great B-day or

    x-mas gift

  • will the water pik work

  • the Hydro Floss technology has proven to be superior in two studies printed in the Journal of Clinical Periodontology - when compared to the same irrigator with the technology removed.

  • i bookmarked this, youve helped me tremendosly, and im proud to say that i also recovered fro mnthis disease. i still use to this day everything you told me to. and i have the healthiest gums ever.

  • thank you very much. The best place to get the H floss is at oralirrigator discount website also the tobeinformed website

  • how much did it cost?

  • $98 - and you can get free shipping, AktivOxigen compound, PerioTherapy Toothpaste, My e-book on gingivitis / gum disease and special report on the same as well as a video link on how to care for and use your Hydro Floss by using coupon code A-PER10 at checkout. You can find the details of this special offer at the Oral Irrigator Discount website or the To be Informed website (post 119).

  • too much for me.

  • I guess it depends on how you look at it. The cost of having multiple teeth extracted or replaced far exceeds the cost of $98. Gum disease is the number one cause of tooth loss in adults. Aside from cost of having teeth removed and replaced, I think it would be nice to keep my own teeth. For a device that lasts for years, 98$ is really nothing.

    Just my 2cents.

  • We don't have the oral rinse you have there in England.

We have waterpik though but the water resevoir is on the back of the pik itself.

  • Actually, you do have that rinse available in the UK. If you contact me, I'll tell you how to get it. You can reach me through the To Be Informed website. There is a link on the upper right side that says "Ask Dave a Question". You can reach me that way.

  • LOL, No you don't want to rip your gums out. Go see a periodontist for advice, diagnosis and treatment for your gum disease. If you want to get some information, read my book, "What You Should Know About Gum Disease" available at the GingivitisKiller website

    - dave

  • do u have to rip out your gums to get rid of gingivitis

  • Hi, was looking around for some videos to see if anybody had the same problem as me. I don't have bleeding gums, but they are receding, and exposing the nerve so i'm in alot of pain. my dentist told me to rub 'sensidine' tooth paste onto the affected area when i go to bed, but it never stays on so i've given up! i've started using arm and hammers new one that is supposed to seal off exposed nerves, dunno if it will work. but my dentist isn't helping either!

  • hi Happy. I can't help but wonder if your exposed roots were caused by brushing too hard rather than by gum disease? I hope the new toothpaste brings results that you are happy with. Brushing too hard causes a lot of damager, I have experienced the effects myself. I hope others can learn from our experience. - dave

  • Well, my dentist did tell me to change the way i brush my teeth, to brush in circular motions instead of 'sawing' at them. maybe i do brush a bit too hard! but i wonder if the gums will go back into place? hope so...

  • omg i have that EXACT problem...my gums have receded, not b/c of gum disease but because i brushed my teeth like crazy...i'm worried though, can i still get things like pockets from the damage of my overaggressive brushing?

  • with less gum tissue, there is less protection.

Read: What You Should Know about Gum Disease for More info...

  • Hydro Floss is available at the Oral Irrigator Discount website or the To Be Informed website.

  • Ask your Dental professional if it's possible that you grind your teeth at night while you are sleeping. These are symtoms. If he makes you a nightguard and you wear it every night, it should prevent sensitivity and more gum recession.

  • I have a custom night guard - they are fairly expensive though. I am extremely gentle when I brush now. I've learned from experience and through my research that it is not good to brush hard. If you have gum disease / gingivitis - it just ads to the problem because the tissue is not as strong as healthy tissue in the first place. So there are a lot of angles to this problem.

  • is it safe to share the hydrofloss with other people

  • So long as you follow the cleaning instructions that come with the hydrofloss, you should be fine.

The hydrofloss comes with 4 seperate tips, so a family of four could each have their own tip that no one else uses.

You can read more about the hydrofloss here:

  • Thank you! I just had another dental appointment a few days ago.

She said that this time there was NO bleeding during probing.

Probing is when they use a metal tool to check the depth of seperation between the tooth and the gum tissue. This is exactly the place where infection would be found. No bleeding is a very good sign.

I'm continuing to use this device and I continue to be very satisfied with it.

  • Now, this is practical! A real person with real life experience tells it like it is.
