@Gambit1984 Is just a dumbass term to describe newer bands that borrow heavily from the original Shoegaze movement, to me it's just a new wave of Dream Pop or Ambient music as it sounds nothing like Shoegaze, but that's my opinion

if you're handy with samples a guitar might be the only obligatory instrumentation that needs to be done

@DrQmal you can accomplish a lot with samplers. It takes extra work to get that live musician feel, but it's quite possible. Some things just can't be sampled and made to sound realistic when putting an entire piece together.  In this entire series, you would be surprised at how much is sampled or synth. Give it a shot bro!!!

The percussion track is too rigid(and over bearing); a little filter/eq'ing would go a long way. Also, you need to bring variety into the note velocities.

The mixing needs work: vocals could use a little thickening(doubling) and then brought forward. Guitar needs a little more delay/widening and then push it back a hair behind the vocals.

Listen to Cocteau Twins, "Heaven or Las Vegas".

i think what you 're trying to do will not going to happen, internet is a colaborative plataform, when people with less production than you guys is able to help another. there is a lot of cool stuff and FULL tutorials here in youtube, so stop the bullshit and start something new with respect for us, who use and rule this shit. google only worth something because of great ideas, don't come here to play on old rules, its not going anywhere, btw this music suck. cheers from brazil!
