Other than the beautiful place I live (San Francisco Bay Area), Lord Howe Island is my favorite place in the world. I read about it in National Geographic in 1991, held it in my heart for 16 years, and finally got there in 2007. I've been back, and I'll go again and again.
what a shit island, when i went there i felt like killing the 50 old people on it. I'm glad i took a huge shit on the catalina plane crash site. Stupid fools, can't fly a plane properly. Hope this island sinks. Waste of my week and money
agree with Andyroo54. Would be perfect if it were not for the locals who resent the tourists. They are inbred miserable people made wealthy through the tourist traffic..

I just came home from it, very beautiful but not worth the expensive cost that you have to pay. Got very tanned :P lol
