  • wow miracle that monster balls break thumps up if ya with me

  • waste of paint

  • whats about the 12 :D

  • monster is probably the only paint worst that the gi shit.

  • your coomparing monster ball to your evil like filled 50 cal ball, how about you compare regular evil to this gi 50cal paint.

  • drop 5,16,27 hit the shell of another paintball so that 1 is unusable data and abunch of them werent in frame. and i dont know how you got monster balls to break. lol they are like rocks down here in VA.

  • WHY MONSTERBALL? damn, from what I heard that thing is like ball bearing balls...

  • my question is why did you use monsterball? why not use some local field paint like random white box,

  • so monster ball won...over .50 cal

monster ball is like rocks. I want to see this test even with maybe some bronze or spectrum. It takes a significant more amount of force to break a .50 cal than an average .68, and monster ball is probably the shittiest .68 available

  • You are now comparing apples and oranges.

  • how so?

  • Well you are comparing a ball that is 26.5% larger than a 50 caliber for one. And a standard drop test is 6 feet and you do not drop balls on top of another ball. If you want to compare the breakage of the .68 against the.50 you should do a side by side shooting test against a human body, at the same speed and distance.

  • Shooting against a human body at any kind of range is going to yield a very wide degrees of elasticity and resistance on impact. Just compare the surface over your sternum to the area just to the right of it. While it might be more directly applicable to the real world, it would also be unscientific and wildly impractical.

  • What does testing the brittleness of this 50cal have anything to do with the brittleness of 68cal Monster. Absolutely nothing! Comparing apples and oranges!

  • then you can keep your mumble jumble to yourself. Think about it? If they are going to use 50 caliber in the game of paintball would you not want to see how the 50 caliber is going to compare to the 68 caliber? The drop test tells you nothing when comparing to 68 caliber, especially monster ball.

  • How do I put this. I think you may have a horse in this race, I am putting out raw information and you seem to be there to pick apart everything.

so tell me how would YOU do the test?

I am not just going to blindly follow because a few folks tell me that it is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

we have been down this road before.

  • I am trying to help you get your testing straight and thats it. I appreciate what you are doing and trying to bring to the you tubers. I will put it to you this way, I know precisely how both capsules are made! And I know exactly how they are to be tested. And I see all these videos doing comparisons to 68 caliber balls which is not right. The industry standard drop test is from 6 ft on a solid smooth surface for 68 cal. I do not have enough space to explain all but keep up the good work!!

  • that looks like DBX Practice grade, MonsterBalls have NEVER come in Blue fill.

  • ya thats wut i was thinking.. i have only seen monster in yellow and green.

  • Ive got a bag of monster right here with the same blue shell and the same blue fill.

  • oh do you really?? no one cares what kind of paint you have , and obviously you have blue shell and fill cuz ITS ALL THE FUCKING SAME

  • Obviously you missed how i was responding to people who said monster ball doesn't come in blue fill. So think before you act like a douche.

  • the inertia of a .50 cal paintball is different the a .68 cal paint ball. both paint balls fall at the same speed, but monster ball since it is almost 2.5 times in mass hits the ground harder. That's why they hurt more then any other paint on the market and the are ban at most fields.

  • thats a very good point. so really you cant do a drop test comparing the .50 to the .68 because since the inertia is different and you cant drop the .50 higher to make the inertia the same because the speed will then be different and you cant do that because the fps that you shoot them will be the same..

so in a way this drop test is valid and in another way it isnt...

  • From a testing point of view i have to agree. Only way this could be done better is to calculate the average distance in inertia, take them out on a range shooting a fps' that take into account the varying inertia between the two.

    Well spotted vash.

  • most of the bounces were hitting eachother

  • I love how videos promoting .50 disabled comments.

  • you kinda forgot 12 there

  • very sad that monster ball won

  • Good work

  • what grade paint is that fifty call paint. One two or three star paint? if that's the high end that not very promising.

  • first post

  • hey mike
