seems like a shitty case to me. just cuz its hard to get in and out. it blocks the hardware buttons to an extent. and it really looks like it would damage the phone more if dropped becuz of pressure and impacct.

Yes It does. I was very upset to pay 30.00 to have my 400.00 iphone scratched; So I called the store and they gave me a new one. It didn't help because the longer I had it in there the more scratched it became. ... Until, (as I said in prev. post) It turned into a "brushed effect".I

Great Case but unfortunately yes... It DOES scratch the chrome bezel. I've had it for a year and it scratched both phones I used in it. It def scratches it; So much that it appears to be a "brush effect" but it definitely scratches the chrome bezel all the way around because it's constantly hitting against the hard plastic. Newer 3g cases have that tacky rubbery stuff coating them like the iFrogz whic prevents that. Other than that it was a great case protecting it from many drops...

In fact, I even went to the Apple Genius and he said they've been getting a bunch of complaint's about it scratching the bezel.

Companies are now putting the tacky rubberized film on the inside to prevent this on most of the 3g's because of this problem in some of the hard plastic cases... sorry for the book but I can't stand when someone contradicts me on something I've spent so much time battling... The Apple genius was the one who told me to expect a brushed effect look.  It scratched my new phone in 5 min. so I am now buying a new case for it before it scratches the entire bezel. This was one of the 1st ones made and the "hard" plastic rubs against the bezel and is right where the phone connect... so of course there will be movement.

i got this case and love it. had the rubber incase and that ruined the chrome bezel. "luckily" my iphone had a problem and they replaced it with a new one for free. :-) get this case!!!
