Great episode...awesome information...the show definitely needs music...an intro/outro ...music to segway into and out of ITL, corner office, etc...Thanks for the show!!!
On the qualities of working with restrictions in music, how about the late 80's early 90's in hip-hop (golden era) when sample based producers where making amazing records with limited sample time. There is some truth about having too many options.
Once again the show is awesome. It's important that you know that people like me NOT in your industry gain from this. This half of the interview with you guys just riffing on life in this world of yours applies to life, period. I am a total rookie, home recording only, five pro tools sessions and an MBox. If you care about inspiring, you need to know you do. This ITL was fantastic. I would pay to have an hour of that. I only have about $6, but I'd give it! Great show. Love the fun relaxed chat.
Really enjoyed this weeks ITL featuring the track by Boney James... it's interesting to see how dave approaches different genres of music, when mixing.
Alex Da Kid gave some great insight into his thought process while creating and producing.
"Thanks Again" Dave, Herb, Zan, Drew, Will and VintageKing Drew, for another exceptional episode!!!
Between my paper back issue of the Mixing Engineer's Handbook and this show, i have been able to learn so much. After blowing a year at Audio engineering school at Philadelphia Univ. Of The Arts, I learned more in an hour a week here than i did in my whole time at school. Thanks Davs eand team. This is a valuable resource.

I liked how Alex talks about his gear. Sometimes not having too many choices forces you to be creative.

What do you think of YouTube's audio codecs? And which PCs have decent decoding hardware to listen to this stuff?
